Location & Surroundings

Situated conveniently near the intersection of Interstate 15 and Interstate 90, the park provides easy highway access while remaining tucked away from heavy traffic noise. The surrounding area is defined by the rugged beauty of the Northern Rocky Mountains and the vast high-desert plains. Its proximity to the Continental Divide ensures cooler summer evenings and stunning vistas of the Big Sky country that Montana is famous for, making it a scenic resting point for those journeying through the mountain west.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is designed with practicality in mind, offering full hookup sites that accommodate both 30 and 50-amp electrical needs. Many sites are wide pull-throughs, which is a significant advantage for those navigating larger rigs or towing vehicles. Guests can enjoy several key features during their stay:

  • Clean laundry facilities and well-maintained restroom and shower buildings.
  • Reliable access to Wi-Fi for staying connected while on the road.
  • Mature shade trees and manicured grassy areas at most campsites.

These features ensure a comfortable and functional stay while allowing guests to enjoy the natural surroundings and shared picnic areas.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Exploration is easy with the World Museum of Mining located just a short drive away, where visitors can descend into a former mine or walk through an old mining camp replica. A trip to see Our Lady of the Rockies, a 90-foot statue overlooking the city from the Ridge, offers a unique perspective of the valley. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the nearby trails for hiking and mountain biking, as well as the historic architecture and local charm found in the streets of Uptown Butte.

Great place for overnight stay or as base camp for traveling out and around, convenient location. Worked for us. The management runs organized and is on hand for questions. Thank you 2 Bar Lazy H

We had to stop due to weather. Was okay for overnight. VERY unlevel. Overpriced, in my opinion. Spaces are very close. Scenery was nice. Did not use the facilities as only overnight. Quite a few full-time/long-termers at the front of the park. If pulling a travel trailer and being level is important, pass on this one. I have a problem with vertigo and this was not a good stop for us due to leveling. We just didn’t have any other option.

The sites are a bit sloped and the hookups are shared between the drive thru sites. Our site faced the road so no one across from us. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The host was very accommodating and met us at the office for check in after hours. Close to highway but the road noise was very tolerable.

Nice small park with full hook up. Easy access from I-15 with fuel and other services nearby. Facility was clean and neat with 2 showers and 0nly 1 commode for men and women. Reasonable pricing for overnight stay or longer. I would recommend to all passing through the area.

Gentleman that checked me in without reservation was very pleasant also made sure I was in good spot for wi fi for my TV. It worked excellent. The showers and bathrooms were well kept and clean. The spot he gave me was easy in out. Right off the highway and reasonable price $60.00 night electricity and water. I would definitely come back again
