We absolutely loved this campground. You will not have to”the space to yourself” as this is located conveniently off the Main Street. Which everything in Ouray is walkable, so location was incredible. We came in early October and the bears were active. Two of the three nights we were awoken by them sniffing around our van. Bathrooms are very clean and laundry is nice and large. We will 💯 be coming back to this place. The hot springs are located a short 5-7 min walk, all stores and restaurants are all walking distance.

Our first trip to try out sprinter van/rv camping and this campground provided a great experience! We stayed 2 nights. It was great hospitality and great service. Clean space and amenities. Peaceful and beautiful locations just blocks and walking distance to Main Street. We highly recommend staying here.

Great little spot to park up the root too tent it rv. Full hookups, electric awesome. Bathrooms are clean and showers are clean. All this and it’s right in Ouray AND you can literally take a short walk to the springs from the grounds.

We had a great stay. Staff was very friendly and our spot was perfect. The view, the campground, the restaurant and the hospitality was top notch. We will stay here again. The only complaint I could even have is that other campers need to pickup the poo after their pets. That was a little disappointing to see so much of.

This is a great park due to the location near downtown Ouray. You can easily walk to Main St or the main Hot Springs within minutes. Staff is friendly and the park, restrooms and showers were clean. We stayed 5 nights and it's a good central location to many activities. Maybe 5 minutes to Box Canyon and 35 minutes to Silverton on the Million Dollar Highway. Downside is lots are all rock and you're packed in super tight. Only a few sites have a fire ring, otherwise you need to bring your propane one. Some spots were all shaded and some were all sun. Would stay again if we wanted to hang out in Ouray.

Stayed here for 3 nights in July 2024. Some sites are very tight, like your awning almost touches your neighbor. We lucked out and got a site that was more spacious. Bathrooms were immaculate. Can’t beat location, easy walking distance to town. Great views. Also easy walk to Ouray hot springs. We would definitely return here, even if we got a tight spot.

On a roadtrip with camping gear from Oregon, the only campsite we could find was this place. The tent camping is on a dirt county road that's used constantly. Dust constantly, noise much of the time, no privacy. It was basically a parking lot. We'd made the reservation that day and after seeing what we'd gotten ourselves into wanted to leave but blunt/rude person at desk said we'd have had to cancel 7 days before. WOW! We left and found a wonderful campground nearby which we'll go back to in a minute. We just came back and used their showers because, hey, we'd already paid for it.

Do not book if you want to be cancelled and charged. Called to reserve a campsite and was unable to get to our check in due to cell reception and running late. However, when I was finally able to call and confirm we were still coming was charged and our reservation cancelled. There was no online booking confirmation nor did anyone attempt to call to confirm we were still arriving. We were only informed to cancel within 7 days notice. I do not recommend this campsite in regards to the service.

Checking in was super easy. Our first spot was close the bathrooms and laundry room. Both were clean and we used the showers while we were there. We did have to move spots and got a back-in spot by the river. This was super nice. The RV spots are close to each other but we weren’t bothered by it at all. We had plenty of space to set up chairs and cook outside. We used our TMobile for Internet and had no issues working during the week and joining virtual meetings. We walked everywhere in town and hiked part of the Perimeter Trail that was near the RV park. Great stay and super friendly staff.

We got a river front spot just 2 days before memorial day! Front desk service was friendly, spots were beautiful and maintained. Excellent location 2 blocks from downtown. Bathrooms were very large and very clean and multiple toilets which was nice. Highly recommend!

The RV park and campgrounds was stellar. Everything you could need was provided and the location was simply unmatched, directly on the perimeter trail route- super easy to hop on the trail just outside your tent. Lots of trees and shade, and you can hear the river nearby!

The location is the only good thing about this park. Not big rig friendly, spaces are literally on top of each other. We have a 40ft class A with slides on both sides. One of our slides hovered over our neighbors picnic table. And on the opposite side we were were basically sharing a space with our neighbors. Thank goodness we hit it off, or it would have been incredibly awkward to cookout. Wifi is non existent. All of the grass areas are off limits to dogs. The proximity to restaurants, bars & shopping is the only good about this CG.

Nice space. Clean. Quiet. Friendly hosts. Good location to walk to town. We watched Perigrine Falcons high up on the cliffs above us. Had a lovely breakfast at our own picnic table. Walked to the pool.

Very friendly staff. Great location within walking distance to town. Very quiet, even when full.
