My husband and I stayed in our camper with our four dogs. This was our fourth year camping at Four Paws and we'll be back. We love meeting folks that care about their dogs as much as we do. ❤️🐾. The people there are courteous and the camp ground is always clean. Our dogs enjoy it too.

Four Paws has become our go-to in the mountains of Western North Carolina! I have three very active Spanish water dogs, and they LOVE the huge beautiful pond for swimming and the lure course! This past trip was also a chance to introduce them to the agility field, which they really seemed to enjoy as well. They LOVE coming here. And as for the human amenities, the staff could not be more friendly or accommodating. There's a cute little pavilion with a food truck for a quick breakfast or lunch, seven dog parks, and the campsites themselves are absolutely gorgeous. I've stayed here many times and hope to come back for many more.

If your dogs are your kids, this is the place for you. We weren’t sure what to expect before coming, but it quickly became one of our favorite campgrounds. We’ll absolutely go out of our way to come back here. Everything is designed with dogs in mind. Our goldens loved the dog pond—it’s fully fenced, has zero-entry spots, and is big enough for them to swim, chase other dogs, or just cool off in the water. They did get dirty (it’s natural water), but the joy on their faces made it completely worth it. Luckily, there’s a fantastic dog wash area with tubs of different heights, aprons, towels, brushes, and even drying tables with electric dryers outside. It honestly feels like a little dog spa. The large dog park is another favorite: it’s big, wooded, partly shaded, and has plenty of benches, even a bench swing, so you can relax while the dogs play. We didn’t try the private parks, small dog area, ball field, or agility course, but they looked great and it’s nice they have so many options. The lure course was also a unique feature—perfect for dogs that love to chase. On the weekends, the pavilion and food truck make it extra fun. Friday night there was a welcome bonfire with pup cups, and the food truck had specialty coffees, breakfast sandwiches, sodas, and creative hotdogs. They even had a “lick and paint” activity for the dogs, which gave us a cute keepsake from the trip. Prices were very reasonable for everything offered. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the other campers were social, which gave the whole place a nice community feel. Everything was spotless, from the public areas to the trash pickup right at your site. We stayed at site #17, which had a fully fenced yard. After two weeks of our dogs being tethered or in the RV, having that safe, enclosed space felt amazing for them and for us. Rates are in line with other full hookup RV parks, but with all the extras here, it feels like a bargain. The rules are fair and really just there to keep the dogs and people safe, which we appreciated. In short, this is a one-of-a-kind experience that makes your dogs’ vacation just as special as yours. We love it here and will definitely be back.

We were welcomed by Beverly who took us to our spot. It was a totally enclosed RV area so we could let our dog run around while we enjoyed sitting in the sun & reading right next to our RV. The dog parks were great & within walking distance. The electric, water & dump were easily attached and the grounds were well taken care of. The staff were helpful and friendly. We don't live far from the site but had never heard of it. Now that we have discovered the campground we hope to be coming alot more often, especially for our dog who was totally exhausted from all his running around and whined all the way home because he wanted to return.

What an amazing weekend away with our three pups. So glad we found this place. And it’s only an hour from home! The dogs had the best time ever. Dog parks. Swimming. Walking. We stayed in the “Stella” cabin. Ice cold AC which they had on for us before we got there. The staff is amazing. The grounds are kept up nice. We booked another weekend in September while we were there. Highly recommend!!

We had such a fun weekend! All staff members are so friendly and helpful! Penni met a Golden Retriever that taught her how to fetch balls from the middle of the pond (Thanks Parker!!). She loved the lure coursing. Jordan was so sweet and patient with all the dogs, most of them had never done this before! The grounds are very clean and the cabin we rented was also very clean and just cute! (We rented Bonnie). The dog house food truck food was amazing 😀 We will definitely be going back to 4 Paws Kingdom!

Four Paws Kingdom campground has their stuff together! We are seasoned campers and I have to say this has been one of the most pleasant and enjoyable grounds we’ve stayed at. This is a completely dog-centric campground! Our site was fully fenced and Marzipan (our dog) loved being able to hang out in her “yard” whenever she wanted to. Jordan, the onsite camp manager was professional and available right away when we had a problem with front gate keypad when returning to the campground after the gates are shut at night. She was there in an instant to help us. There was no problems with the gate, by the way, just our own fat fingers. 🤣 I could really go on and on about this campground, the food truck and pavilion where we had breakfast a couple mornings was wonderful. Daily trash pickup at your site. Many places for dogs to run around off leash, pleasant site neighbors … The perfect place to camp with your dog!

Dogs paradise! I have been going here for the past 7 years. I absolutely love it . I cannot say enough about how amazing the staff are here , they truly go above and beyond. The campground is well kept and very clean . I have stayed in several of the different cabins , I would recommend any of them . They are clean and have everything you need . The bath house and the dog bathing station is always clean and well stocked. My favorite part is it’s adults only . My dogs favorite part is the pond area and the lure course. ( and all the friends he makes)

Absolutely loved our visit here ! The cabins were cute… the campground was very nice , it had a summer camp feel to it where everything was within walking distance , but they did a great job of making every spot feel secluded. Staff were friendly , the dog parks were fun and our pups loved their vacation! The only thing I’ll mention is if you don’t like a hard mattress, bring a topper! Not a criticism at all! Just an observation :) Will definitely be back !

3/31-4/3 our first trip to this campground, we were in the buddy sites with our niece. We loved the fenced yard between us for our furbabies. The sites were very level! Bathhouse was very nice and clean. The dog parks were great! Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would totally recommend this campground if you have furbabies and perfer an adult only atmosphere. I know we will be going back! The only thing I would suggest is to be clearer on the website regarding golfcart rules. I always read rules and never read anywhere that golf carts were not allowed. Dont get me wrong, I totally understand the reason behind it and agree, however I wouldn't have took the time or effort to load it up in the toyhauler to bring it if I would have known. I will also take some of the blame that when I did not see anything specific about golf carts, I should have called to ask.

This dog friendly campground is amazing! They have many different dog parks and activities for your 4 legged friends. They also had a band and offered dinner and frappes and lattes for the adults. The groups of people that stay there are wonderful and their staff is amazing and always very helpful! The owners Paul and Gabby are so wonderful and loved my 4 legged babies ! It’s a perfect place to pamper yourselves and your pets and have a fun filled, yet relaxing time away! I would give 10 stars if that was an option! Wonderful time!

We have gone to many campgrounds across America, Four Paws Kingdom is by far the best we have ever been to! We were in doggie heaven! The staff go way out of their way to make sure everyone is enjoying their stay. We have never seen owners of a campground walk around to each camper to check on them. When you're there they make you feel like family (not the toxic family members). Not only are the owners and staff the best but campers and their dogs are as well! No doubt we will be back every year! Let's talk about cleanliness. When I say spotless that's exactly what it is. Never been to a dog park without seeing poop in several different places. You won't see that there at all! The bathrooms are by far better than you'll ever see at any campground. I'm not going on about this place because they raised $1,500 for our organization Vets to Vets United. They really are the best and we will always be grateful for them doing a fundraiser for us and making our weekend stress-free!

What a great Campground! My dogs had an amazing time enjoying all the parks and festivities. We stayed in the Yome and we really loved it. Everything is clean and well maintain. You can tell the owners enjoy what they do. And the owners are great by the way they made the experience even more enjoyable

This is Heaven on Earth for people and their doggos! Beautiful, well laid out campground, super friendly staff; it's perfect even for those whose dog is a bit of a loner..the private dog park is perfect. And for those social butterflies, there are several parks to choose from. The fenced yards and decks at the sites are well maintained and secure as are the fences around each park. Four Paws is an absolute jewel. Oh, and the bathrooms, laundry room and dog wash room are immaculate!
