Been retired 6+ years and finally know what it means to relax. This is Natures Chain of Lakes Campground. The best in Michigan for sure. We’ll get a seasonal site when one becomes available.

Looks run down and is really overgrown. The lake isn't visible or accessible to swim in from the campsite.

Had a difficult time initially making the reservation but was a great location with lake access, just know the majority of campground is seasonal. Also a BIG beware that there is a tremendous amount of poison ivy around the campsites & we got no warning despite advising mgt we would be arriving at night. Row boat rental (no motors available) for fishing was super cheap & they had swings & a good old-fashioned merry-go-round for the kids. Pleased that check out was not until 1pm however when we attempted to return the boat stuff & check out 1/2 hour before office closed there was a sign in the window stating they'd be back at 12:45 (she was "running an errand for her dad"). Overall would probably stay again just for the location but would come better prepared for the challenges.
