AAA RV Park

Overview

AAA RV Park provides a welcoming and reliable landing spot for travelers visiting the northwest corner of Tennessee. Located in the charming community of Union City, this park is known for its peaceful environment and straightforward approach to RV hospitality. As a family-owned operation, it prioritizes a clean and safe atmosphere for its guests, ensuring a restful night after a day on the road. The park maintains a reputation for being well-kept, offering a sense of security and local hospitality that many larger corporate parks lack.

Location & Surroundings

The park is perfectly positioned within Obion County, offering a mix of rural tranquility and suburban convenience. It sits within easy reach of local dining and shopping in Union City, yet it is tucked away enough to provide a quiet escape from heavy traffic noise. The surrounding area is defined by the scenic landscapes of the Mississippi River Valley region, making for beautiful sunset views over the nearby agricultural fields and providing a true sense of West Tennessee charm.

Amenities & Park Features

Travelers can expect practical amenities designed for comfort and functionality. The park features spacious sites with full hookups, including water, sewer, and both 30 and 50-amp electricity. For added convenience, the facility offers on-site laundry and shower facilities that are kept tidy and accessible for guest use. The gravel pull-through sites are particularly popular among those navigating larger motorhomes or towing heavy trailers, as they allow for easy ingress and egress without the stress of tight maneuvers.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

One of the biggest advantages of staying at this park is the proximity to Discovery Park of America, a premier science and history center that attracts visitors from all over the country. For those who enjoy the outdoors, a short drive leads to the mystical waters of Reelfoot Lake State Park. Here, visitors can explore the cypress-filled waters by boat or hike the trails to spot native wildlife and migratory birds in their natural habitat, making it a perfect day trip for nature lovers.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is ideal for long-haul travelers looking for a convenient and well-maintained stopover with easy access to major local roads. It is especially well-suited for families visiting the nearby museum or outdoor enthusiasts using the park as a base camp for regional fishing trips. Wonderful campsite for our overnight stay. Great service - even took us to the site. Easy to get in and out!

This was just an overnight stay, but Lacey gave us a very warm welcome on arrival. We enjoyed a nice shower after setting up in the rain. Stores, gas stations and restaurants just a short drive away. Discovery Park of America is about a 10 minute drive.

We are moving from CA to KY and on last few days the stomach bug hit my family. We had to make adjustments and lessen our travel times. I called this place because it was right off the hwy we were traveling. The lady was super kind and helpful. Upon check in she wasn’t in the office but I clearly saw my little package with waters, receipt and a map clearly marked. She then spotted me and made sure we didn’t need anything then escorted us to our site. She was very kind. The park isn’t extravagant but has everything you need for traveling through and you can see they take pride in their space and try to meet all the needs from kids to furry friends and campers!

We just needed a place where we can spend a night with also being able to dump and refill our water tank. This is a small but very efficient campground. Everyone was very nice and helpful and we even received a welcome package. Very thoughtful!

This is a lovely place to stay! Very sweet place. Had a little difficulty knowing exactly which entrance to come in, gps took us wrong way. But worth the stop! With our stay we received a gift bag with cold water and a coozie! Recommend staying here on your way through. Easy on and off highway!
