This campground is very nice. The sites are spacious. The restrooms are clean and they have some great trails. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

What a fantastic gem of a campground! The staff are so darn friendly & helpful. We opted for a non powered site & had a great view above the lake. Humming birds all over the place. Nice water pressure in the showers. They do lock the gate at 10pm so there aren't headlights driving around at all hours!

This campground is wonderful. I chose one of the walk-up campgrounds and was really surprised because of the amazing views of the lake! The camp host was incredibly helpful and gave me detailed directions to my campsite as well as the campground! The scenery is stunning and different from other areas of New Mexico and inspired Georgia o'keeffe, as she used to live near here! Please do note that the lake is managed by the Department of Defense and there is no alcohol allowed!

LOL, it's a campground; there are no rooms. The restrooms were satisfactory. The views were amazing. The sites were small but adequate.

Had such a great time camping here. Bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. Camp hosts were very helpful and friendly. Definitely one of my new favorite camping spots. The views are incredible, and loved the hiking trails. Only thing I’d like to see is the big floodlights be turned off at night.

All hand sanitizer soap dispensers I tried were empty, no soap at all in bathrooms with running water, the bathroom with running water had no toilet paper anywhere (found out in middle of night), and porta potties could have been cleaned better. Campground has lots of rules and restrictions. Some may like it, just depends on the guest.

Not bad for $15. Site 31 has good views but not so level in our camper van. Fire ring and picnic table. Site is near the bathroom but no one went in during our stay. And it didn’t smell so it was fine. There’s drinking water and a pavilion right near the site too. Shower house not far but we didn’t use it so can’t really say anything about that. The camp hosts are super friendly

This is a wonderful campground. It's clean, quiet, and has an absolutely beautiful view. The hosts were very kind and helpful. There is a dump station on site which we found very helpful and cell service was excellent in case you need to stay connected. Site 39 has incredible views and felt very private. We will return for sure!

Beautiful location! We were there July 30- August 2, the camp hosts went out of their way to make all guest feel at home. All campsites are spacious, with a fire pit and grill that can be used as a smoker! The sites are kept free of kindle. The fire pits and grills are spaced to maximize fire safety. Bathrooms are clean. We had a wonderful weekend!

Lake is 40+ feet below normal, but there is still enough water to boat, swim (you have to pick your way down some rocks), fish. Campsites were very nicely situation, roomy, nice views of the lake. Bathrooms clean, even with soap! Very nice set of "stacked loop" hiking trails around the camp including a nice walk to the visitor center. A bit farther away, we did the Rim Vista Hike off Road 151 north of Ghost Ranch, really exceptional.
