We found this campground to be the perfect spot for us to enjoy our visits to Yellowstone, Cody, Beartooth Mountains, and Grand Tetons. Steve was very helpful when checking in giving us the run down on local places and things to see that we may have missed if he didn’t share. The pull through parking, well groomed plots and laundry facilities were greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend this campground to anyone planning to visit this area. Thanks for the excellent accommodations, The Foley’s

Stayed here three nights in 43' motor home with tow vehicle. Very friendly and helpful lady in the office. Sites are close to each other - however, we had no issues pulling in or pulling out of RV park. Each site has grass and a picnic table. Laundry room was great - very clean. Right at the edge of town of Cody. LOTS to do there! And Yellowstone about 45 minutes away. One downside is they put sprinklers on every night and they will put hard water spots on your vehicles.

i don’t have a need to post many bad reviews, but this place needs improvement with reservations before arrival. I explained we had a 42’ fifth wheel. They told me we would have plenty of room to park the truck behind the rig. That didn’t happen since it barely fit the RV. We were told to park our clean truck in visitor’s parking only to find dried water spots from their sprinklers on the hood and along the sides. There are plenty of other places to stay in Cody or closer to Yellowstone to choose from. I would be happy to spend my $550/week rate elsewhere.

My family and I were experiencing the Wild West in a rented RV motor home, for two weeks. While in Yellowstone we seen an advertisement for the Cody Rodeo, and decided to go, as we had never been to a rodeo before. We looked at all of the RV parks in Cody and booked a site for Absaroka Bay RV Park. When we arrived, the park staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. Our family loved the rodeo, and the next morning took advantage of the laundry and showers. Since we had been on the road for a week and with three kids, we were pleasantly surprised at how big, and CLEAN the bathrooms, and laundry house was. After seeing how many other things there was to do in Cody, we decided to stay another night. I’ve read a lot of reviews about people complaining about the rules, and how small the spaces are, but for the price, access, friendliness of the staff, how quiet the park was, and how CLEAN it was, we were very satisfied and recommend this park. We plan to return again and will definitely come back. One last thing, our little boy Benjamin (6) lost his Yellowstone sheriff badge while playing there at the park. The Camp hosts found it, called us after we left, and said they would mail it to us. You just cannot put a price on good honest, decent, wholesome people like that! THANK YOU!!!

Very friendly staff. Warm, welcoming and genuinely enjoy what they do. We rented F8 for $55 a night hoping the sites were not quite as snuggled together as Google Earth showed. The satellite view wasn’t misleading, they are close. Even though the sites are pull through, the road separating sites is equally tight as I watched two different campers pulling trailers learn as they worked at it to get in. You’re reminded you’re in town by the infrequent sound of aircraft and the major road nearby. Not terrible, just there in the background. Water pressure was roughly ~60 p.s.i., 50 amp AC service steady, sewer connection is non-threaded and the WiFi was strong. The site we had was reasonably level with firm underfoot. All sites are pull-through but let me say it again, they are tight. A Class A pulling a toad would be well served to connect the toad in the street. Just not worth the risk of getting pinned in or worse…. Lastly, because everything is tight, there’s few trees, no fire pits, no cooking on park tables, no stakes, no mats on the patch of grass separating the sites, no pet fencing on the grass and toad parking is a bit squeezed. Regardless, it’s still a very nice place operated by very nice people and I’d stay here again!

This is an RV/sardine park. You have 10 feet of space between rigs. My trailer is 38' and barely fits in the pull through site with my truck sideways in front of it and literally 6" from the hitch, it's partially on the road. The laundry is $2.50 per wash and $2.50 per dry. I would go on but I don't want to turn this into a rant. There are other parks in the area with more room to actually stretch.

Great location in Cody, close access to shopping, groceries and some fun little restaurants and bars near by. Locally owned is great as well, ask a question and you shall receive an answer!
