We left and forfeited our reservation fee. No bathrooms or showers. Needs a huge makeover. Can not believe they are allowed to stay open and advertise

New to camping. Read the reviews as we didn’t. Our lot was behind a trailer. No bathhouse. I was totally unimpressed. We left. Would like to get my money back as we weren’t there even an hour. Just drove off, I’ll eat that one.

This is the third time we have stayed here, when visiting our family on Paris Island. Every time it was quiet, clean and enjoyable. Our small kids and 2 dogs enjoy the property. We will be back again in November.

Stayed here recently. Met by a friendly gentleman that helped us pick out a spot and find a working electrical connection. As others have noted, No sign, camping behind a house among the stored boats. Asked to shorten our stay, from our original plan, but no modified online bill was ever made available, we were left with the choice of paying for time and leaving, or just leaving without paying.

We stayed here for almost a month in November. It’s under new ownership/management and they are fantastic people! They are doing a lot of work and updating everything. They were very friendly and accommodating. Very child and dog friendly. It’s a quiet campground that we thoroughly enjoyed spending time around the campfire talking and enjoying the area. I highly recommend, and if we’re back in the area this will be our destination of choice.
