Stayed in one of the pirate ship cottages. They are very cute and nicely located, however, due to some weird building code issues there are no stoves or even a microwave oven in them. The furniture in them also is very minimal and for some reason there’s no way to latch the bathroom door. They do have nice large outdoor sitting areas that are covered so that if it’s raining, you can still sit by the campfire.

Before Acres parents past away, the upkeep was very nice and the price was great but today the upkeep, cleaning of rocks, pot holes, leaves, very bad showers, the young staff don't know what they are doing in most cases and the PRICE IS WAY TOO HIGH. We as a family went 2 to 4 weeks a year. Today maybe one weekend a year if we go to Acres of Wildlife Campgrounds, that's a shame 🫠 😕 😔

We love Acres, we have been coming there for the last few years. We stay in the Suite right on the beach for 10 days in May and 10 days in August. The staff are great and overall experience is very good. We usually can't wait to get there and have a hard time leaving! As long as we can, we will keep coming to Acres for our family vacations.

Best campground. Been camping here for 28 years. I have been coming since I was a baby and now I bring my babies. We love all of the activities and I love seeing the owners kids that I grew up with having such a big part in the campground activities. It has changed so much, but still feels like home.

This summer was our 7th year camping here! So much fun for the whole family. The kids love it and we do too and we have made so many amazing memories here over the years. The staff is awesome, the campground is well kept up on and clean and the activities they have are so much fun! We will probably never camp anywhere else. Starting next year we want to start doing two weeks every summer because one week is never long enough.
