Great place and very conveniently located. Staff was very friendly. Camp sites are a bit close together. Bathrooms and showers are extremely clean but could use taller privacy doors and locks.

My second time here and my wife's first. She loved the campgrounds, so much so that we will be booking Labor Day 2025 as soon as we are able to. The staff is beyond friendly and always able to answer any questions we had. They really take care of the grounds here. We love the fact that it's a small campground. The pier offers a place to fish or just go stare at the stars. Firewood is on the expensive side, $14 for 6 or 7 pieces of wood that burn quickly. Ice is reasonable at $3 a bag. The one thing I would suggest is updated bathrooms/shower facilities. Showers were like warm at best. They have a playground for the kids. Thanks for a great Labor Day weekend. See you next year!!!!

Very nice campground on the banks of Lake Champlain nestled below the beautiful Crown Point Bridge. The spacious sites are mostly level, but only one actually has a lake view. There are both shaded and exposed sites. There is potable water in the campground, but no electricity OR dump station. The bathrooms are dated but very clean. The showers were lukewarm AT BEST…. Brrrrr. Campground admission gives admission to the Crown Point Lighthouse and the very well done and interesting Fort Crown Point historical site. There’s a great breakfast joint on the VT end of the bridge. 🥓🍳🥞. With it WeBoost antenna we had enough Verizon signal to stream.

We enjoyed our stay here for the weekend and thought it was an interesting place because it has both the lighthouse and historical site on the grounds. Our site was nicely wooded but fairly close to neighbors and a little uneven. Not much here for recreation unless you fish or have a boat. We wished it had water access for swimming.

Camp employees are very welcoming. We have had great camping experience every time we come here. Beautiful lake view as well as beautiful sunset.

Five stars!! Alison, a member of the staff MADE our weekend. She was wonderful. We stayed here on an adventure weekend to cross another lighthouse off our list and check out what was nearby. Not the friendliest campers nearby, but we enjoyed our stay either way. Unfortunately the lean to was not available due to restoration when we booked. I would have preferred that site, but oh well. Went to check out the site before we checked out and someone left so much garbage and dirty diapers. I wish people had more respect.

Very nice campground, if you get a good site. The staff at the entry was very friendly and helpful. The location is great because there are stunning views of the lake and bridge. Plus there is an attractive lighthouse right in the campground. A short walk across the road takes you to the ruins of two old forts, one English and one French. Great sunsets. The only downside is that some of sites retain water during rainy weather. I rode in on a bicycle and went through all of the sites scavenging for some firewood. My site was dry, but some (especially those closer to the road, away from the lighthouse) were swampy and I wouldn't have wanted to camp at them.

Dry camping. No hookups. Nice location .

Good fishing in spring. Ok rest of summer. Big channel cat 😆. Wooded sites are few and far between.

This is a great location. The Campground itself is pleasant and clean, with a lot of grassy areas. Not much in the way of privacy though. But I think the real attraction here is the history and points of interest within walking distance. The lighthouse you see in photos is a very short walk from your campsite, with great views of the lake and bridge from there. You have the bridge itself you can walk across(to Vermont), with some pretty spectacular views of the area. Directly across the road from the campground are the Fort Crown Point ruins, which are amazing to walk into and experience. I highly recommend. Overall a decent campground with a lot of interesting history.
