Adobe RV Park

Overview

Adobe RV Park offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Mojave Desert. This 55 plus active adult community provides a quiet alternative to the busier resort towns nearby, focusing on comfort and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you are seeking a short-term stopover or a seasonal home, the park emphasizes a tranquil desert lifestyle where residents can enjoy stunning sunsets and a slow-paced environment. The park is well-maintained and focuses on providing a secure, friendly space for mature travelers.

Location & Surroundings

Situated in Golden Valley, Arizona, the park is conveniently located off Arizona State Route 68. This location places travelers perfectly between the historic city of Kingman and the entertainment hub of Laughlin, Nevada. The surrounding landscape is characterized by wide-open desert vistas and the rugged Black Mountains, offering a sense of seclusion while remaining close to modern conveniences and major travel routes that connect the tri-state area.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is designed to accommodate various rig sizes with functional features intended for long-term comfort and convenience. Guests can expect a variety of essential services including:

  • Full hookup sites with 30 and 50-amp electrical service.
  • Spacious pull-thru sites that accommodate larger motorhomes.
  • On-site laundry facilities and clean restroom and shower buildings.

The community center serves as a hub for social gatherings and resident activities, and the park is pet-friendly, allowing travelers to bring their companions along to enjoy the vast desert surroundings.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Exploration is easy with the historic Route 66 just a short drive away in Kingman, where visitors can explore museums and vintage diners. For those interested in water recreation or gaming, the Colorado River and the Laughlin casinos are within a 20-minute drive. Outdoor enthusiasts can explore the nearby Hualapai Mountain Park for high-elevation hiking or visit Chloride, a historic silver mining ghost town, to experience a unique glimpse into Arizona frontier history.

This park is an ideal fit for senior travelers and retirees who value a quiet, adult-oriented environment over high-energy resort amenities. In all my years of travel, this is the cleanest rv park I have ever seen. Everything sparkles, bathrooms, laundry, spaces. Even the dumpsters are clean, inside and out! The gentleman was very interested in the next step of our journey, as he had lots of road condition knowledge. Our rig is a class an and he advised us on where it would be okay to take it on our journey. Also suggested where it wouldn’t be advisable.

Great and Quite place to stay. The price is great and the staff was wonderful… All the amenities were very clean and it was pretty close to stores as far as we were concerned. Easy access to the freeway…

Really happy with Adobe! Wide spaces, very friendly staff, only a short distance from the highway, but QUIET! And 55 and over is a plus! WiFi is minimal and cell coverage was LTE on AT&T
