We've camped there for 17 wonderful years. Our children and grandchildren will have fond memories forever. The people that work there are always ready and willing to help you out anyway they can. We cannot say anything bad about our 17 years there.

Pretty good campground often with a good amount of on site weekend activities. They have a great pool, nice store, decent bathrooms, and a variation of site types. I've had really nice concrete sites that keep me coming back and I've had a couple sub par sites in the grass that flooded so I just make sure I pick the right one for my liking. There's not much to do off site, so I tend to go when they advertise a pretty activity heavy weekend. Halloween there is my personal favorite. The only reasons for less than 5 stars is the entire campground is on a fairly steep hillside, you're going to want a golf cart vs casual walks for a good part of the place, and at other places I've experienced where they guide you to your site, deliver your cart, really play into the service aspect, this place doesn't do all that. They draw you a map and say walk back to get your cart, no big deal but also not what some other places offer. It's one of my favorites that I go to annually and definitely worth checking out if you've never been.

Everyone in this park were so friendly! Even the folks that were permanent! Greatly appreciate that! We were there for a Halloween weekend! I can't say how much I genuinely loved this place!

My husband and I took our grandchildren (6, 7 year old boys) to Adventure Bound in Transfer, PA. The boys got to play on all the playgrounds and swim in the heated Olympic size pool. It was great that the pool was heated because the water was warmer than what the temperature was outside. The employees at the campground were so helpful and friendly from the check-in to the maintenance crew. The head of maintenance, Matt, helped my husband with our sewer hook ups. We didn’t ask for help. He just volunteered and this was after hours. We had rented a golf cart and he helped us out with that as well. Jim from maintenance was also very helpful with our TV and camping tips. Both of these men were very knowledgeable and friendly! The only drawback to our trip was there was no Wi-Fi and-spotty telephone service.

My in-laws have a trailer there. It is a private campground. Visitors are only allowed 10 free visits to residents (cumulative), then they are charged $5.00 per person, per visit, even if they aren't going to use any of the amenities, just sitting on the porch with the folks. Not horribly friendly.
