I was very excited to book a family-friendly, peaceful campsite on the lake to have a great weekend with my family. When we arrived to ABC we were very disappointed to realize that the campsites sit directly on top of each other. We were squeezed in between huge campers, and the campground seemed to be about 90% seasonal sites. People were not respectful of quiet hours and were blasting music until the middle of the night while yelling loudly to it. My kids were trying to sleep at 9:30 pm, and a golf cart train came around blasting horns and music. I am not someone against having a few drinks while camping, but it was obvious that people were impaired while driving around the golf carts, and the campground reeked of cigarettes and weed. I expected more from a campground that cost $170 for two nights, $72 for a 24-hour golf cart rental, and not to mention that they charge you after the fact for electricity. It could be a very nice campground if some things were to change, but in my opinion, it is an overpriced place where people go to drink.

The campground looks like they havent put any money into it since the 80s. The sites are incredibly tight and the site we rented literally faced a seasonal as if it were a buddy site. This made for sitting outside uncomfortable. The unlevel pads are grass and filled with ruts. The "crystal lake" is more like a swampy pond on the side we were on. I would not consider swimming in it and no one did when we were there. The nicer side of the lake is all seasonal campers. The playground is from the 80s... all wood, metal slide, 55gal drum slide, tires. The only thing fresh on it is the spray paint they haphazardly applied. They do inflate a bounce house and a water slide for the kids which gave them something to do. The pool and pool area is big and did seem clean. I will give them credit for that however the pool itself had holes in the concrete big enough my kid could put her hand in them. The railing falls over if you grab onto it. The seasonal campers we were next to did not respect quiet hours. They blasted (not family appropriate) music in the pavilion until 10pm and then went back to their campsite and turned the music back on until 2am. They apparently coordinate a golf cart parade on Friday night which consists of everyone driving there carts through the campground at 9:30 while laying on their horns. That was wonderful to experience. Probably 30 golf carts doing laps honking their horns. There are 2 dump stations and the one we went to is very tight quarters for anyone with a larger camper. The "black tank flush" line is the elbow nozzle attached to the flexible pole. These are pretty much useless for anything other than cleaning your hose. I would not recommend this campground to anyone. Its TRASH. The staff seemed courteous and helpful.

I stayed in a RV site this past weekend and my whole experience here was wonderful! From the awesome staff, fun activities, clean facilities, and beautiful lake view, we had the best weekend ever. Everyone here is very friendly! They had live music on Saturday night which was so much fun! I will definitely be back for another visit! Thank you Danielle and all the staff for a fun weekend away!

When we arrived at ABC, we inquired if we could move cabins to be near family, and staff was happy to help. As the staff cleaned our cabin, they made us aware that the air conditioner was leaking down the wall and we could move if we wanted. Indeed the wall was soaked under the air conditioner(right near an electric socket), but since the weather was decent, we told them we would just leave it off. I proceeded to open windows, but found the screen in the back room completed detached and "blowing in the breeze". On the second night, my husband got up to use the bathroom and was greeted by approximately fifty large ants crawling around the floor. We spent the next half hour killing ants. The toilet was shimmed, but still was "rocking" excessively whenever we used it. We are not ones to complain so we made the best of our visit. On the plus side, the kids with other members of our group had a great time with activities. Staff was pleasant. If the owners made some small improvements, this could be a wonderful place. We actually chose to leave a night early as I just couldn't take another night in the cabin. Given the price we paid for the stay, (nearly $900 for four nights), I don't think we will return.

Staff at this location are amazing!! I couldn’t be pleased any more with the service we got. From the time check in the girls were wonderful. This nice young man that was running the slides was very polite. He helped my child down the slide because he was to scared…Hard to find young workers with that kind of work attitude!! All of the events were fun for everyone! Definitely a 5 star !! We will be returning for sure! Thank you Adventure Bound Cooperstown!!
