Pros: Staff was super helpful. Quiet campground. Gated entrance. Cons: Dirt neglected roads, unlevel sites, low hanging trees, cars parked at or in road , making it difficult to maneuver. Old unkept Rvs with lots of messy sites. Water had alot of sediment, used two filters in a 2 week stay. Overall: We arrived and had arranged a early check in for a fee. Our site had a decent amount of yellow jackets as if a nest was nearby. They offered to move us or spray we decided to move .Staff was super helpful and I so appreciate that. Our site was mostly dirt and had a old broken mop handle laying in the dirt and lots of old rotting wood laying around. Also had a cinder block with like a old alarm clock in it. They did move is to this site last minute. Overall , people in the campground were never a problem just not what I was looking for in a campground resort. If they layed gravel to combat dirt, sand and mud this would be a HUGE improvement. Already booked my next stay in DC and unfortunately it will not be Adventure Bound.

We went there in April to check out the campground and liked it. We were going to be in the area in August for the Andrews Air Force Base air show. We were let in the automatic gate and when in the welcome center. We were given a map with available sites in August. We went in and checked them out and picked out our site and paid in full. In August we went to check in and our site was moved to a small all sun site. We asked why we could not have the site we paid for. We were told we didn't pay 20 dollars for a lock in fee and someone else did for that site. We said we paid in full and were never told about such a fee. So we picked another site right beside the one we paid for. As we were getting ready to back in the site we got a phone call telling us we could have the original site we paid for. No one ever checked in to any of the sites the three days we were there.

The people here are very nice. The bathrooms. And showers were great. You have to wait like 2 minutes for the hot water to turn on. But they work great. There's a pool and a a dog park. And laundry, game room, and little store. Also, it's nice if you want to stay longer than a month or more, they give you a great price. It's close to a lot of places in the DC area. But we're already like thirteen minutes from the beach or inlet (BAY)

The staff are really nice here. And they are great deal if u stay longer than a month in your RV or trailer. They have nice shower with handheld shower and the hot water heat up. In 2 mins. They have s Dog park which we love. We have 2 dogs. The pool always has a lifeguard there. They have laundry room and game room. The campers are so nice here. It's rains and floods just like every where. We lived in AZ and floods. We love it here.

This was a very low end campground advertised to be a great one. To call this place a “resort” is a stretch. Nearly all of the sites were people living there which was no problem despite for the messes surrounding their campsites. It appeared management has taken no attempt at wanting to keep the place clean. This really took from the vibe of the campground. Many of the sites appeared to be very close to each other as well, taking away any privacy. We had a site on the outer edge of the park and often found that the road noise was horrendous. We will not be returning here. About the only positive is the proximity to Washington DC.
