*Update - I just received my deposit a few days ago. *PLEASE READ IMPORTANT INFORMATION** I planned a trip to elephant butte for the 4th and reserved with elephant butte RV park and here since my parents couldn’t get a reservation at elephant butte and I wanted to be close to them. I paid a $100 deposit to Agua Vista and was told by Amy if I canceled I’d be given a full refund. I canceled the week of June 23rd and she confirmed I would get a full refund. I waited for my refund and even spoke to Amy and she confirmed she would send. Now I can’t get ahold of her via phone or text message. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and wanted to make this post to let others know. As far as the overall condition of Agua Vista RV park (my parents stayed there and I visited because our camper broke down and we needed an air b n b) there was dog poop near the bathroom and my parents were nervous staying there the first night because of the behavior of some of the other quests. The pool was nice though. I would not recommend staying here. If anything changes with receiving my refund or the BBB complaint I will update this review.

20 Cozy Cove was our small haven. Staying here for one night and very happy with results. Everything was super quiet, clean and perfect. Everyone was friendly and Amy was a great host. Definitely will be coming back

We were here in March of 2023. It had changed hands and the new owner is trying hard! I wish them well and good luck. They were so nice and as someone said it was a nice place over night. We were there 3 days. We'd stop there again, for sure!

Since 2014 I have visited Aqua Vista and gave 4–5-star ratings. On 11/2022 new owners took over, I tried till 8/23 to give them a chance to improve. They came with no clue how to run a park. Rent went up, clubhouse closed, cleanliness of facilities (restrooms, pool and park) isn't consistent, and rules are broken by female owner leaving long-term renters to leave dissatisfied only to be replaced by trouble. Recent reviews in past nine months are by NO one who has actually stayed in park. All those who have left during that time wish for old owner to return, WAS a great park.

Owner is planting more trees, updated pool, road, and wifi (great access for everyone in park) On-site staff keeps facilities clean and is immensely helpful. Atmosphere is neighborly. Not a place for WIDE rigs (only two double slots) but plenty of free space to park vehicles/toys. Will be returning.

Agua vista RV park is a nice clean park. You are able to see the elephant butte lake when you enter the park. They have a nice clean club house and a laundry mat. There's a men and women's shower bath house on back side of club house. It's very nice and clean. I am not sure of how many spaces they rent out but most of the time there full. They have back in lots and ones you can pull through for bigger rigs to park. The pool is nice and clean. The owners name is Mike and is run by a very nice lady her name is miss Betty and her helper that keeps the place clean is miss Diane. Stop by check it out you will be glad you did. An older, yet clean place to call home for the night. Mike was very friendly checking us in. Primarily full time residents, but there are a few spots for overnighters. Close to the highway yet quiet. Great view of the stars at night. Be sure to bring cash or check as they don’t take plastic as of 10/2020. 🤙
