To say we are disappointed in this place is an understatement. The positive side of this park is that they have nice amenities. Pool, clubhouse, laundry, cable tv, paved roads, concrete pads at the side of all the rv sites, social events that feel like your walking into a dive bar, (with cliques and all). Pretty much all of the things you would expect from any decent rv resort. The town of Foley is quite nice, as are the nearby towns by the gulf coast. On the negative, the WiFi is non existent (couldn’t even find it with my high end I Phone). The road into the park is dirt and has deep potholes all the way across in several spots. The park is unfinished, don’t look at the map on line because it’s not correct. They have about half of the spaces that they show. The “lake” is a muddy pond in the middle of the park that they charge a premium rate to be near. The spaces are level, but they are also not accessible to the road for someone in a wheelchair since the nice concrete pad outside the door has no path to the street. You have to either cross deep, loose gravel or muddy grass. Some of the “pull through” sites empty into a grass and mud field with no actual driveway out of the spots. If it was raining or wet, you would absolutely get stuck. We were expecting so much more from such a highly rated park. The worst part was the price point. We had a month reservation and changed that a couple of months prior to our stay to just two weeks. They neglected to inform us that the nightly rate for the week stay was over 20 dollars a night more. When they informed us about the price difference as we were arriving, the counter person also mentioned (in a quite snarky way) that “ya don’t have to stay here!” We feel like the monthly rate is fairly reasonable. The nightly rate is accurate for a high end resort, this place falls well short of that. If this park was completed, and the roads into it were paved, and the sites were actually accessible, and the pull through sites didn’t empty into a muddy hole, it MIGHT be worth the rate. We won’t be coming back to this park. And we will absolutely not recommend this place to anyone with any disabilities.

Great location for us (we were attending activities at the OWA Foley sports complex) and that was the driver for picking this location. The park is very nice. Lots are great with easy access to power and water. Bath house was clean and will maintained. We are planning to return!

My wife and I just stayed at Ahoy for five weeks and enjoyed every minute. The park is located close to everything we like to do (Beach, shopping, parks and food). Owners were great and the employees are some of the hardest working people I've ever seen. Thank you for making our stay a Great experience.

We had such a great time with Ahoy! The owner and staff were willing to go way out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it could possibly be. The sites are level and well maintained. The pool is great. There were activities for the kids every night and live music on Friday night. We will definitely stay here again!
