This was a great stay! The mountain bike trails were really well kept and had a cool layout. There were tons of options with varying difficulty levels — everything from beginner trails to double diamond, so there’s something for everyone. The horse stables looked well maintained, and the campground itself was quiet and peaceful. Most of the campsites were pull-through and very nice. The bathhouse was clean and well kept, which is always a plus. Definitely a good spot if you’re into biking or just want a calm, nature-filled getaway.

Small, spacious campground close to the MTB trails. Lots of deer, armadillo, and no trash pandas. You can bring a horse if you have one! Ice and firewood for sale at the front gate before sundown .

Alafia River State Park - Campground is located within the Alafia River State Park premises itself. The Alafia River State Park is located at: 14326 S County Rd 39, Lithia, FL 33547 They top quality campsites Primitive Camping to some of the BEST Tent Rentals available. There are Campsites for Campers and RV's They have Fresh Water, Fire Pits, and BBQ Grills depending on which site you want. There are Restrooms, Fishing, Trash Disposal Site, and a Holding Tank Dump Site. There are Playgrounds, Equestrian Trails, Hiking Trails and Biking Trails in a separate location of the park. If you want to experience or explore the Florida Wilderness at it's best, this is the BEST place for you  !!!

Nice campground and awesome bike trails! But!, after starting to ride the trails we were told electric bikes are not allowed, only class 1 type that don't exist, it was my brother and I we are old men we weren't hurting anything, and you couldn't even use the assist anyway. No problem only drove from Michigan!

Hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding, this place has great trails for all !!! From relaxing at the campsite to careening off of a high hill and what ever you put in between, Alafia River State Park supplies it for you. A bit off of the beaten path and well worth the trip.

If you have been to Alafia MTB and like to camp or RV, then Alafia Park campground makes perfect sense. You can stay just seconds away from one of Florida's mountain bike destinations. With campground connector trails, you are literally moments away from the excitement!
