This is a nice park. The only problem we had was generators running all night, and when you go and make a complaint the management does nothing about it. So if you want to take your generator I would suggest it and can run it all night you won't get kicked out. Management does not care, not only that you can look at their front yard and see how they're going to take care of the park.

We have gone both the cabin route and camping sites and this is our favorite place in MI. The management of the place is spectacular. The staff is so friendly and these folks are hard workers! Clean baths and laundry facility, they keep it in order with a smile. Lovely views and well kept grounds. Almost don't want to leave a review and keep the place a secret, but that wouldn't be fair. I remember fishing here with my Grandmother in the 70's. Things have grown and improved so much since back in the day. Canoeing nearby. Swimming. Quiet great place to bring the kids away from the world and devices.

Very nice campground. My only complaint is you need to buy tokens to use the showers. The full hookup side is clean, nice firepit with built on grills The grill is almost useless it covers half the firepit but is so low the only way to cook on it is with only coals or possibly bank the fire. It was quiet even during the day. I was told by someone who stays there all the time that the modern side (electric only) is the rowdy side music playing and campfires going well into the night. At our site we had a fire going till about 11:30 each night and never saw anyone else with one going that late. Most sites have shade. Some sites look to be full shade ans secluded with trees on 3 sides. The pull through sites have a view of the lake. There is no beach but there's docks where you can tie up your boat

The park is massive but feels like a small campground since all of the different areas are spread out all around the lake. They have a variety of types of spots, including full service, modern, semi modern, rustic, water front and deep in the woods, nightly and seasonal. Showers and bathrooms central to each area of the park and many "outhouses" all throughout. Fishing is great and water is beautiful. Perfect temperature to cool off on a hot summer day.

This is my new favorite campground. Very kid friendly, I love the coloring pages in the store and the free popcorn. The staff has been so friendly and the place is just beautiful. We're going to book another trip before we check out. So many playgrounds, big sites, beautiful views. It's wonderful.
