Did not go into cabins ,so I can't rate them, they added new sites along the the front row ,but we stayed in the older sites that are gravel. Nice pool and play areas for kids. Great stop if your going by with a special local farmers market as well as a Meijer and Walmart.

I was a little worried after reading some other reviews but we went camping with some family and had a great time. The campgrounds are clean, it was Labor Day weekend and the bathrooms and showers were clean and well kept. We had 4 adults and 8 kids and found plenty to keep us busy. I was surprised for such beautiful weather the pool was not packed. We were able to find chairs each day and didnt feel too crowded. I especially loved the printed schedule given to us at check in but on top of that they texted before each event so our kiddos could make it without us having to track the time. Some shade in the newer cement pad spots would be nice but I hear thats in the works. Would visit again. Everyone eas super friendly, campers and staff alike. The second day we set a leaky trash bag by the road with plans to take it to the dump after eating and maintence stopped by offering to take it for us. Based on previous reviews I expected to be told it couldn't be there but he was more than friendly and said no problem he'd take it for us.

So I will say this is a nice campground and I didnt have any problems with staff. They were friendly with all interactions I had. I will say it is like camping in a field there are no trees around and so there is no shade and the wind is constant feeling. The pads are super nice and the campfire pits are pretty cool. We had a lake site but it is a little slippery close to the edges. Quiet at night even with M66 being there.

My family came here for a camping trip. The camper/RV spots did not offer any shade, which sucked with how hot it was. There is a nice pool, but it could use some umbrellas and more regular skimming. The bathrooms are not well maintained. We spent a week there and the garbage cans were overflowing the entire time with the same stuff. 2 showers were broken and one bathroom. The water here is terrible, there’s a lot of water in the pipes which made the showers spray or sputter.. at our camper site we had a regulator which helped a bit, but there were still issues. The bathroom has a nice modern vibe, but needs way more attention. They have a nice catch and release lake, there are ticks so be cautious. The communication was not great, we asked about a roof top tent and their rules for that because they are super strict and threaten to kick you out if not followed. We asked first around 8am, said we would get a call/text. Around noon, walked back up to be told she was super busy and hadn’t had a chance to ask while she was on her cell phone at the front desk 🤔 They change their prices and tack on a lot of fees for anything extra. When calling they quoted the golf cart at $65/day when arriving it was $75/day - when we mentioned the call the response was it changes and they didn’t remember what we were told. Overall the campground is quiet and a decent place to stay, but I would not return based on how strict their rules are and how little maintenance is being done on their daily used stuff like the bathroom and food stock.

The sites were kept clean and well maintained. The RV cement pad was a plus. The water pressure in the women’s showers were not good. The shower would spit and sputter and at one point, it stopped and then it started up again. Apparently, there may be a lot of air in the pipes. The flow was not always good, but once it started up again, the water was hot and the pressure was good again. However, some of their policies we did not agree with such as when we arrived two hours early, we had to pay $10 for each hour we were early. Then, we had two elderly guests stop by and they were told they had to pay $10 each. They did not even use the amenities and only stayed three hours. The next day after we checked out, my husband received a phone call from Alice Springs regarding he owed an additional fee and if it could be charged to the card on file. He asked what charge they were talking about. He was told it was $20 fee for the two guests that stopped by the other day. He replied they paid the fee in cash and he did not agree with the charge because they did not use any of the amenities. They said it was their policy, but they said they would take off the double charge. Although we had a good stay and it was quiet, the policies and double charge was questionable.

My husband, boys and I have camped here as weekenders for about 3 years, before becoming a seasonal camper last year. Heres the goodl, decent size sites, trails to walk, bike & ride golf carts on. The bad - Most of our issues is with how management (Tara), runs things. This park could be a goldmine, it has lots of potential, but they are too worried about babysitting everyone. There are many reasons why this campground was empty and they still have available sites for this upcoming season. We signed a contract end of 2023 for 2024 season but upon arriving in 2024 much changed within our signed contract and when we questioned why it had changed or why we were not given an up to date contract we were labeled as difficult. Here are some of the issues we had this past season. Our adult son came to visit paid his $5 to get in, about a week later the campground charged his debit card for our electric bill because they stored it without his acknowledgement, after addressing it they never paid his bank fees for pulling money he didn't have - pretty sure this is illegal! No jumping in the pool, No drinks by the pool or hot tub even in covered cup, but seen several weekenders walking in the pool with beer cans - nothing said even after office staff did their wristband checks. Age of kids allowed in hot tub changed seemed like weekly, sign said 13 until our son was in it then they got a sign that said 13 on 1 line and 14 on line under it. Our boys were told they were riding their PEDAL BICYCLES too fast. We were told when signing the contract our children could drive our own golf cart but not rentals, so we allowed them to do so with us on the cart. We were told immediately they were not allowed to per their insurance company, so we respected this rule yet watched numerous weekenders allow their children to drive around all weekend without an adult and never once was told they can't. When we addressed this with management conveniently, Tara's response is they can't watch everyone. Yet the have cameras throughout the part watching certain peoples every move and chasing to their site to reprimand them like children over the most minor things like parking your vehicle on an inch of the grass. Their rates are insane for the amenities they offer. The playground is a bunch of ropes for kids to climb, they try to do events but fail at being involved with their campers to get them interested. Our conversation was overheard in the pool area with another family on how downhill the place is going with the new management and we were all called into the office like children being scolded. Told they can't have people overhearing anything bad about the campground - yeah because you can't fill it so you don't want to lose the people you who come. Towards the end of our season, while out on one of our many golf cart rides late afternoon on the trails we came up on a hunter in the tree stand with a loaded crossbow in camo gear in a tree stand. Called the office, one person seemed concerned about it but when we went into office Tara made excuses because it was her boyfriend saying he was scouting. We had people in our group that have hunted many times, this is NOT what he was doing but she lied. We had kids out there with us, this is a huge safety issue to allow hunting on the property where your campers are walking, on golf carts and biking. Seems like this could be a huge legal issue if the insurance company that they hid behind all summer got wind of this. I could go on and on with many more issues that we had, but there are several seasonals who were there for more than 10 years who chose to leave since the new management took place, keep that in mind. I'd avoid this campground at all costs, there are way better places out there that allow camping to be fun. I get rules need to be put in place but the manager, Tara takes it to a whole new controlling level. Looking forward to the upcoming season of real camping with great friends!

Campground has nice amenities. There's a giant bass to be caught in their pond as well. Cabins are great. I am surprised by some of the negative reviews. I stayed here many times this summer and the pool and rest rooms were very clean (and had mirrors). A couple trouble-making long time seasonal campers (that thought they owned the place) have not been invited back next year. Place is making great changes (full bar and pool table next year as well) with new management.

I had a fantastic stay at Alice Springs RV Park & Resort! The facilities are top-notch, with clean restrooms and spacious sites. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area, and the peaceful atmosphere really enhances the experience. I particularly enjoyed the well-maintained cabins and the beautiful views. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing getaway in the heart of nature. I'll definitely be back

I would rate this resort? as just above average. In our 20+ years of motorhoming this park is nice but we have stayed in many others for less money that were much nicer. That being said our problem was mainly with the rates we were charged. When we made the reservation I requested a military discount which they said was available. Upon arrival I requested a receipt and was told it was emailed. After setting up the coach I checked my email and nothing was there. Found out the email address they had on file was entered wrong. Then they requested proof of military service which I proudly provided and they refunded me 10% of the rate. I questioned the attendant if any other discounts were available in as much as the season was drawing to a close. The answer was no and was charged for in season rates. Obviously rates had something to do with 97 sites being empty for the 3 days we we were there. In conclusion we would say there are better values available than this park and will plan accordingly the next time we are in Michigan.

We have been going here off & on since this park opened in the early 2000's. We found it to be very nice well run with fun stuff to do with families. The original park had around 120 full hookup sites and 6 rustic cabins. This park has been recently been sold last year to with new owners and park management. With that being said, the new owners have begun to update the park main bathrooms, added 38 new premium sites to the north of the office and added 6 new premium cabins. I would recommend this park to anyone.

It's a great campground for 5th wheels and R.V.s. Full hook up on everything. Pool, hot tub, playground for kids. Basketball court. Sometimes a D.J on weekends. Grocery stores and fast food five minutes away. So all around if you like more modern camping with the luxuries then come here. I'm more of a rustic kid of person but nice to have a home away from home.
