All the Hosts were sweet. Nice and quiet, we didn't get the fishes to bite, better luck next time🙂 Beach area was nice and is separate with a $5 a day entry fee it has grills and picnic tables..for RVs bring long water connector mine was a little short and had to re- park.. the 1st set of bathrooms were clean but outdated and the bathroom way in the back was not clean..overall nice time in nature.

Site 39 is across from the lake but with easy access to the water. Nice shade trees on both sides of the site. It has a long driveway but a little high on the driver's side of the camper. We just used our leveling blocks on the door side of the camper for leveling.

My husband and I work extremely hard jobs Monday through Friday. We have two children that we try out hardest to make memories with and give a good childhood too. We decided to come here and go camping and have a decent weekend with them. However it got cut short when the park attendant guy spoiled our weekend. He had an issue with our puppy that could have easily been handled. Instead he was extremely rude and had no answers to our questions when we were trying to figure a solution out. He even called the park ranger after threatening several times. The park ranger was very helpful and told us what to do. We appreciated him for much but the kids were already upset and we were already over it. We cut the trip short and will not be back. I would discourage anyone wanting to stay here. The man at the front is out to ruin your family fun. He needs to learn other peoples time matter and not just his awful attitude.

When arrived campsite was not cleaned, had trash, raw food, tree limbs all over the campsite. We were also told gates locked from 10pm to 7am, unless died, do not bother camp host, very rude camp host. Will never stay at this place a again. Also we arrived 15 minutes before check and would not open window to check in untill 1.00pm, what kind of people make you stand out in the 95 degree heat.

This was our first visit to this campground, and we will not be returning due to inconsistent information and rule enforcement. Prior to our stay, we called the campground to confirm our check-in time, which was listed as 4:00 PM. However, the website stated that check-in was allowed as early as 7:00 AM on the day of the reservation, provided the site was unoccupied the night before. When we called, the campground informed us that check-in would be at 1:00 PM, which was different from both the website and the information we had been given. The first evening (Thursday) was peaceful, but the situation quickly deteriorated as the weekend approached. The campground became overcrowded, and we had problems with disruptive neighbors. On one side, campers smoked marijuana at all hours of the day and night, and on the other side, a family gathering played loud music and games well into the early morning. While park rangers patrolled the area frequently, they did not intervene regarding these disturbances. Instead, their focus appeared to be on late departures, which seemed misplaced given the more disruptive behavior taking place. On departure day, a park ranger knocked on our door to remind us that check-out was at 11:00 AM. We were already in the process of packing up, but the website clearly states that check-out is at 3:00 PM, adding another layer of confusion. To make matters worse, another park ranger parked at our campsite for several minutes and simply watched us pack, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. The lack of action taken regarding the illegal activities and disruptive noise, while the rangers concentrated on enforcing check-out times, raises serious concerns about the consistency and priorities of rule enforcement. This experience left us frustrated and questioning the overall management of the campground. Given these issues, we will not return to this campground and would caution future visitors to be aware of the inconsistent communication and enforcement practices.

If you want dogs on a leash then that’s ok. Build a dog park some where there’s plenty of room around here so dogs can stretch their legs. I have a puppy that’s is let’s play 24/7 dogs need room to run and play ball or what ever

Sites were small, but perfect for our group of 8 to split between 2 adjoining ones. Each site appears to have its own spicket and firepit (and attached grill!!), plus a picnic table and a laundry line pole which we used to hang our trash bags on. We didnt have any issues with critters getting into things (although the 2 dogs may have detered anything), but there were quite a few black ants that just randomly appeared covering any food stuffs on the ground (i.e. food prep n dog food), but no fire ants as far as I could tell. Would absolutely come back in a heart beat, as it gets hotter im sure the lake will become a popular swim/water sport spot.

The Campsite was nice except for a lot of trash was thrown down the hill from the campsite with soda & beer cans. The bathrooms were dirty and had no hand soap. The cleaner would park in front of the bathroom where she spent an hour on her phone and I don't think she ever went inside the bathroom. They are now under County Management where check-out is 11:00am. We were still packing up at 11:05am, along came the Park Ranger and said if we are not out of here in 20 minutes he was going to issue me a Citation. I said I would be happy to extend my stay for another day and he said no, and told me that was not an option and the citation was going to be a lot more than an extra day. Then he returned 10 minutes later and proceeded to watch us pack in a frenzy. I think the Park Ranger hated his job and this probably added a little more excitement to his job and issuing a citation would be his highlight of the day. So buyer be aware, if you want to be stopped and threatened by the Gestapo, be out by 11:00am.

The campground was beautiful! Not a bad one but our site was infested with ants! They got all over our camper, all inside, and in our bed the night w other. I went to speak with the front and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. We couldn’t even sit outside without having them crawl all over us! When we left, our neighbors car got infested. They really need to take care of this!

It's always fun to camp at Sweetwater. The camping spots are well maintained with running water, electricity and fire pits on each site.

COE campgrounds and we absolutely loved it here. Stayed a few days and we enjoyed every day there. This place has a hundred places to take pictures very close by. And the lake is amazing.
