I camped at Buckaloons on 23 July to 4 August 2025. The campground host family are some of the best people I have met in my travels. They are genuinely nice and friendly and do a fantastic job managing the campground! The bath house / restroom facilities were always clean and the campground was well maintained making my stay there very enjoyable! Thank you!

Nice, spaced out campsite (mostly). Bathrooms were nice and clean, scattered around the campgrounds. Access to river with the boat ramp inside the campgrounds. Only downside … plenty of road noise. Logging trucks constantly driving by. Some sites you actually see them on the roads outside the campground. Hence the rating.

Showers and bathrooms were decent. Kids liked the basketball and volleyball courts. Gave it only 3 stars due to the amount of road noise from nearby freeway though. Swing-in grates around Fire pit are nice.

The location offers a pleasant environment. I recently utilized the area for parking and loading my kayak onto the river. Please note that the daily parking fee is $5.

Beautiful out of the way camp grounds. The sites are close but distanced from each other by vegetation. Very nice setup. The bathrooms are centralized for the campers and the bath house is near the front. I like the trail around the camp showing off the river and the side streams.
