I stayed at site 27, excellent full shade site. The site has a great view of the forest. The vault toilets were clean, the grass was just mowed. you can walk to the bath house it maybe a little over a quarter mile away. There is a slight uphill walk when coming from the bathhouse. The bathhouse was clean, there is only one shower stall in the men's side.

Idyllic is not a word I use often, but this place is idyllic. It was late when I arrived. I was at one of the electrified sites with my trailer. A grassy site. This was probably the biggest site I stayed at on my 8000 mile trip! It was a quick stop. The last on my long trip. Midweek, it was quiet. There was no cell signal - so no check-in. There was a composting toilet by my site. The sweetest smelling I have come across. Showers were a little walk (through the woods) away next to a swimming whole.

Beautiful picnic area with a small swimming beach. Road signs and names didn't correspond to the numbers and names on the map from the Ranger Station so we got a bit turned around. Campground seemed expensive so we camped at one of the free spots on the Clarion River.

Really nice campground and swimming area. The campsites are varied so you can get the feel you are looking for. Rocky, grassy, flat, sloped, you name it. Tons of wildlife everywhere. We saw too many deer to count. Rattlesnakes are fairly common in this area so keep your dog on a leash and use a little common sense before running barefoot through the forest. Camp host has firewood and ice.
