Beautiful, medium-sized, family run campground near the head-waters of the Allegheny River. We take the family every summer. Beautiful views and one of the best star-watching sites in Pennsylvania! The amenities are nice and clean. They also offer activities for the kids. Full hookup RV sites through primitive tent camping, and everything in between.

Beautiful campground. The premium sites are gorgeous. The sights are level, comes with two chairs, table, picnic bench, Fire pit,and a concrete pad. The bathrooms are very clean and well maintained.

I really loved staying at Allegheny River Campground. It was easy to get to and the sites were good sized. We were on #27 and had a beautiful spot right on the river, complete with a beautiful sound. Our site was partially shaded with some beautiful trees. Campground was very neat and restrooms were clean. We are going back in September. I don't have kids, but there was alot for them to do; pool, splash pad, playground, games. I would highly recommend Allegheny River Campground.

We spent a wonderful weekend at this campground with our extended family. We rented 2 cabins and 1 cottage. The cabins had bathrooms and slept all 4 of us comfortably. I must say the beds are very uncomfortable, very thin mattress. But all in all, understandable. The cottage had the same types of mattresses but a larger fridge, 2 burner cooktop as well as all of the plates and cooking utensils. You do need to provide your own linens. The campground has a phenomenal pool, mini golf, little peddle cart and really tasty ice cream. We are regular campers and were very impressed with this campground. We did notice full hookup sites which if we came back we would definitely take advantage of. My kids purchased tubes from the shop and did a mini float down the river. Overall this was a very clean, fun place. The staff we encountered was also very friendly and helpful. Recommend a visit to this location.

Can’t say enough great things about this campground and the staff, drove all the way from Canada to check it out and was not disappointed. Campground was extremely clean with great views and a bunch of amenities for adults and kids. Campground is also quiet and relaxing for those looking for some R&R. Staff is very friendly and accommodating Carolyn was great! Will definitely be back and have already recommended to friends and family. Thanks guys Nolan

The grounds and tent campsites are absolutely perfect. Stayed here for a long weekend in May of 2021 and have nothing but good things to say. It was worth the 4 1/2 trip from the Philly area, and I will certainly be back in 2022 and beyond. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful family campground! Clean bathrooms,, small store, beautiful river views!. There's lots of kid activities and for those young at heart! Sites are kinda close and small, but also well maintained. Great for groups! Cabins are well-appointed, every thing you need for a home away from home. Fireworks on selected Saturday nights! We will be back!

This is one of our FAVORITE campgrounds!! Always such a great time, and the kids love it here! There is always fun activities for all to enjoy. Great new splash pad for the kids to enjoy. Everyone is always very friendly and welcoming when we are visiting. Can't wait for many more adventures here in the future!!
