I like the sound of trains but I’ve never heard trains as loud as these. It wasn’t the horn, it was the loud engines, it sounded like hundreds of Harleys with straight pipes. My wife thought the park was being cruised by hundreds of bikes. I have never heard a train that loud in my life and it went by several times AFTER we went to bed. No trains went by during the day. Trust me, you don’t want to camp here!

Very nice park with trails, free mini golf, restrooms, and a playground. It's right on the scenic Chippewa River and within walking distance of the water park and golf course. Will definitely be back next year.

The trail can flood in the spring after or as the snow melts. It is fully paved and has a few benches to stop and rest at as well as a butterfly garden and infographic postings. There is a playground, covered picnic area, and a large fire pit. Plus there is a free mini golf area that is a little dirty but does its job. There is camping for tents and rvs here as well.
