We stayed here for nearly seven months while we were working in Virginia. We were so pleased at the amenities and the activities offered. The staff was great and friendly. The location made it easy and convenient for shopping and getting around as it is located off I-95. We really loved our time here!

Made a return visit to Americamps after three years upon learning they have New Management (Karen). I couldn’t be more pleasantly surprised with all the changes, enhancements and the friendliness and professionalism of the new management and staff. They had an awesome Halloween weekend with beautiful decorations, lots of activities and good food. Very, very clean and organized and so much fun stuff for the campers to do. Hibachi food truck, bingo and rock painting were just a few of the activities this past weekend. So organized and soo much fun!!! This place is definitely worth a visit!

Driving I95 home from Myrtle Beach to Maryland pulling our 44ft 5th wheel, truck overheated in traffic. We were so lucky to find this campground only minutes from the highway. Beautiful park, well maintained level pull through sites with full hook up. Check in took only 2 mins. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough good stuff about this campground. Oh yeah… really nice dog park too!!

While I had selected this campground just because it appeared to be an easy on/off from the Interstate as a way to break up what would have otherwise been too long a leg, I was pleasantly surprised to find it to be a really nice campground. Friendly staff. Grassy areas to walk the dog. Easy on-off from highway. Big rig friendly. Some road noise from nearby Interstate even inside the coach, but not bad, and only if the a/c is not running. There is a camp store with some camping supplies, and some swag. The bathrooms and showers in the building with the camp store are clean and nice. There is another building on the other side of the campground with the laundry and some more bathrooms and showers. These are not as clean or nice, but would be usable in a pinch. The laundry was disappointing. There are three washing machines but only one was operational. There are eight dryers. Verizon: 4 bars LTE, 106 Mbps down, 56.1 Mbps up AT&T: 9.54 Mbps down, 5.72 Mbps up WiFi: 11.19 Mbps down, 13.89 Mbps up (noon on a Saturday) Cable TV is pretty decent. Not much snow and lots of channels. Site E20. Pull-through FHU 50/30/20, water with good pressure, sewer, cable TV. Angled parallel. 45 foot site spacing gives ample room for slides and awning. Gravel pad with gravel patio, picnic table, fire pit. Had to reposition slightly one time, but then site was 0.1 degree rear low and 0.5 degrees right low, so able to auto-level. Nicely shaded with mature hardwoods on both sides. Site long enough for coach and toad. Did not need to unhook. Pilot/Flying J and a Loves two exits north, TA at the exit to/from the campground.

Clean, nice pool, close to Richmond & Colonial Williamsburg! We stayed for 4 nights, the park is super clean, nights are quiet despite being close to roads, they have special lunch on Sundays. My kids enjoyed the pool in the afternoon when the water is heated by the sun. Great for dogs too. My 6yo loved waking up to go to the playground every morning. I did my morning exercise listening to birds chirp. My 10yo was fascinated by the number of eagles he'd find when we drove around. We enjoyed VA a lot!

This is our second time staying here and we’ve booked the 3rd stay already for the end of the summer. This campground is an easy on and off spot if traveling on 95 with great amenities. It’s easy, it’s well manicured, the staff is friendly and accommodating. They are consistent in the way they operate and Our family appreciates that! They have a pool that is always clean and plays a variety of music. The playground is just enough for the kids to cut loose and have fun. The basketball court, four squares and hopscotch is fun too. The campground is easy to navigate with any size rig. Some sites don’t have a large outdoor space, but many people don’t seem to mind. The campers come and go, but the process is so efficient— you don’t even realize it!!!

We stayed at the Americamps RV Resort for 4 nights in October in our RVIA certified tiny home. I don't know if they allow tiny homes for long term stays for some reason but we had no problem there in our fully self contained RVIA certified tiny home for our short stay. We had an amazing time in this wonderful RV park! It's perfectly located to everything you would want to do in the region and we used it as our base camp to visit a lot of nearby attractions. It felt like a woodsy campground and we had a very relaxing stay here. Our kids loved the playground. Whenever we are in the area again we will make sure and come stay here again! Thank you!

This is our second Memorial Day weekend here, and again, it has been amazing! They work hard to make the campers happy. The managers stay on top of things and are wonderful to chat with and anytime you have a problem even with your camper they come help! Very family oriented and we have booked 2 more trips here and can’t wait!

This is a great little gem we stumbled upon in passing through Virginia. The staff are top notch and go above and beyond to make your stay a very memorable experience. Clean spacious sites with beautiful trees for shade. All amenities are excellent. Highly recommend you check it out! ❤️

Very nice park. Clean and convenient. We Will be back! The staff is awesome. Friendly. Helpful. If I could give this place 10 stars because of their staff I would. Thank you Jim John and Rich for helping us with our rig.
