Wonderful campground. Friendly and genuinely welcoming office staff. The lanes and sites are paved and surrounded with beautiful large pines. Decent WiFi signal and cable were included, and bathrooms were spacious and spotless. There are 2 nice pickleball courts, a pool, dog run area and a playground. It's about a 15-20 min. drive to Williamsburg, Jamestown or Yorktown. There is also plenty of shopping minutes away for supplies or dining. Some reviews have mentioned a train track nearby; it wasn't really noticeable to us during our 3-night stay. What really impressed us was their response to an issue we had one evening. About 15 minutes before the office closed, I called for assistance with a cable tv outage. I did not expect someone to come out until the next morning, yet within 5 min maintenance (John, I think?) responded. Turned out it was an issue with our RV, not them. Yet, he had no negative attitude about being called so late in his day, he was friendly and jovial. We went in early November, the weather and Fall colors were spectacular. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and if you can go in the Fall, even better. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at the park. We (1 adult 2 kids and 1 dog) booked and lived in a med-size cabin. It looks small from the outside, but insider you find a small fridge, a microwave, drip coffee machine, a queen size bed and a bunk bed. All these are well positioned so that the room is reasonably spacious for 3 people to stay. That said, if a second adult joins, it could feel crowded. There are places to store out luggages too, under the bunk bed and between the bed and the wall. The covered porch facing the wood is big for additional luggages and used towels. The AC is a bit noisy but the heater is quiet. Moreover, for a small cabin the bathroom is spacious, big enough for a big adult to turn around and use all facilities without feeling restricted. The cabin was super clean when we arrived, no funny smell either. The mattresses and pillows are okay, decent for a cabin at campsite. The porch has a 120v power outlet that we used to charge our Tesla. The natural trail around the park is a nice place to hang out with the dog and morning walk. Lots of trees, leave, and a clean stream. WIFI is just so so, acceptable for vacation but not great for working. Front desk was always busy with phone calls.

We had a great stay at American Heritage RV Park! The sites were clean and easy to navigate, which made setup super simple. The grounds were well maintained and had a peaceful, family-friendly vibe. We really appreciated the helpful staff. They were kind, welcoming, and made check-in a breeze. The location was perfect for visiting Colonial Williamsburg and other local spots, but still felt tucked away and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!

Really loved our first cabin stay at American Heritage RV park! I was impressed there were no bugs in the cabin and it was very clean. The AC kept it nice and cool/comfortable too. We got the medium sized cabin which in my opinion would fit 2 adults more comfortably than 4. Our crew was 2 adults, pre teen, and toddler and we were kinda on top of each other. BUT that didn’t take away from the fact that it was a nice stay and we enjoyed the park itself and the location was great, too. I recommend staying here, 9/10!

The campsites are very nice. Some need attention to the electrical and cable connections. John, in maintenance was great and very helpful with both the campsites and the building for our rally. Loved the Nature Trail and the wide open spaces. Plenty for kids to do. The children at our event loved the pool and being open to 9 PM allowed them to swim before bedtime. I would suggest more outside lighting on the parking side of the Colonial Room. All in all, a great experience. Very helpful and friendly office staff and Janell was a pleasure to work with when setting up our Airstream Rally
