We stayed here on the way out to Yellowstone and on our way home. Clean comfortable rooms n beds AC, windows even open, microwave, refrigerator, tv, ample parking even for pickup truck n trailer.

Murdo is a small but friendly town. I had a wonderful experience at the American Inn. My room was simple, clean, and comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful! He was able to recommend some places to eat and was kind enough to offer a ride (I was on a motorcycle and it was hot out). The location is convenient to the interstate. Definitely worth considering.

They accommodated us last minute on our trip. Reception was very kind and easy to deal with, the booking process was smooth, easy, and seamless. Room was affordable too compared to other rates we were getting. Check in was also quick and easy, they were friendly and prompt. Room was clean with nice little amenities. TV stations came in great. The curtain was nearly black out which was nice for sleeping in. Appreciated the non-carpeted floors too. Was a great place to stop on our way through!

Family run business! God bless America! Rooms were nice, price is right, room has all the amenities! I forgot my watch in the room when we checked out, & they called us immediately to turn around and go back. Great people! I would recommend staying here.

This place is wonderful! Very clean and cozy. We stayed in the hotel and attended an event in the RV Park. Both were great! Great rates, updated interior with lots of amenities, friendly staff, very accommodating. We had a great weekend stay!!

We stayed in 5 different motels on our vacation and I would rank this one #1. It had a rustic charm about it, and it was very clean! The bed was the most comfortable of all 5 motels. It had a refrigerator with a small freezer, microwave, and a coffee maker. Highly recommend!

The campground is adjacent to a motel. Half the park that’s behind the motel, about 9 spots, are 50 amp with brand new concrete pull through pads. The other half seem to be full timers camped on dirt in back in sites. We bottomed out getting from the city street up on the pad, not badly, but others have much worse as the asphalt city road is chewed up. Also, not all spots have that problem, some are level straight in from the street. Very level spot with a tree on either side of us. Bathrooms are unpleasant according to my husband; old, shower pans look dirty, wand shower heads, toilets are clean with plenty of toilet paper. I think the price is pretty high considering there is no WiFi, cable, pool, etc. There’s a second part to the park a few hundred yards down the road that has about 65 pull through sites that have 30 amp and 110. I think those sites go for about $10.00 less a night. The pads are dirt with grass and use the same bathhouses as the 50 amp sites. It was okay for a one night stay, felt safe and it was fairly quiet considering the proximity to I90, as the crow flies about ½ mile from the interstate. The campground serves its purpose to get a good night sleep. Site 74 $53.41
