Tv service is zero at best. I was told call a number so I do and all was good for a few hours then nothing for the next whole day. I like my night tv so I’m not at all happy about this issue. Office girls are very kind and nice and the workers work hard and showers and bathroom is very clean.

If you want to use their showers, be sure to get the codes and which ones are working. One third of the showers are closed the night we stayed. Site good, watch for ants. They were plentiful.

Sometimes people only post the negative and sometimes people need to be praised. This is that review! We were looking for a temporary place to call home while closing on our house and all of the RV parks within an hour of where we needed to be didn’t come close to five star reviews, so we were nervous doing this site unseen and not knowing the area. This park was a pleasant surprise! From the moment we called to make a reservation, Carrie was absolutely phenomenal. We weren’t sure if we were going to make it the first day because we had a really bad blowout and she called to check on us the next day. During our last year and a half of being full-time RV’ers and moving every month, we have seen a lot of parks. I must say I was a bit nervous as most parks in Texas feel like a parking lot. We were fortunate enough to get lakefront on the new side. They do offer covered spots as well and everyone pays electric. We have a Watchdog and monitor our electric usage. I recommend these to everyone not only for the safety of your rig but for keeping track. One appeasing safety feature is anyone staying in the park has to get a background check. It was a definite peace of mind to know that people get vetted. This park is divided into the older section and the newer section. We were in the newer section and liked it. It is incredibly quiet and although you are close together, you have a complete sense of privacy. From watching the ducks and turtles daily, walking around the park, to the pool (it was always quiet; a huge bonus for us being empty nesters), a community grill; there is always something to do. Walmart is less than 30 seconds away, H-E-B, all fast food restaurants, and the highway are within 10 minutes. Maintenance, wow, they are probably the best I’ve ever seen! I noticed a three person team. Carrie’s husband (incredibly helpful and willing to listen), another gentleman (who was very careful around our belongings when doing lawn care; we appreciated), and a really sweet lady (she took care to help if we needed anything and appreciated the kindness with our Yorkie). For instance, I had requested a poop bag refill at one of the stations and within 10 minutes, after-hours, it was completed. Who would’ve ever guessed! I also had a red ant mount and I have a small dog getting attacked and they had treated that for me. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the grass here get up over my small ankles and when they see a dead fish in the lake, they scooped it out. Everyone is incredibly friendly and will take a moment to chat with you. I’ve never encountered that especially coming back from traveling the Pacific Northwest. If I had to post something negative only because this is a review, it would be that the trash can become overfilled and the gated entrance stays open full-time. But that is just nitpicking and the positive far outweighs this! It’s nice to have some down home country folks willing to lend a hand if needed and the management/workers here are just that!

This was a last minute decision to stay overnight somewhere. We called after hours, and our call was returned right away. We were allowed to stay and pay our fee the next morning...how wonderful! The grounds were beautiful...plenty of shade. Even a swimming pool. Definitely recommend this RV campsite.

Meant to stay one night and had to stay another due to trailer repair. Hosts were accommodating and let us check out late. Clean grounds, pool is perfect for a lazy afternoon. Close to Walmart and town conveniences. Highly recommend.
