This RV Park sits in the downtown area of Anchorage. There is plenty of noise from the passing train, whose tracks are literally feet from the entrance to the RV park, plane noise because it’s directly in the flight path of the local airport and the cacophonous fighting of the seagulls that nest nearby. This all makes for a less than peaceful stay. When the office closes at 5 PM, there is no security of any kind or anyone keeping an eye on the hijinks in the park itself. It is full of rented RVs that come and go at all hours. The clientele here think nothing of making noise late into the night because there’s no one here to stop them. Cars and trucks cruise in and out of the park at will. It is unknown as to whether they have any business being there or not. The bathrooms are not clean and the park is not well-maintained overall. Everyone is packed in pretty tightly here, so I am writing this review as the people next to me have an argument complete with slamming doors at 11pm. If you want a good nights sleep, don’t stay here.

This is a clean RV park with clean, free showers, laundry that is cheap and good wifi. It was quiet in the park and no sign of the homeless in or around the park that others have mentioned. Yes the trains are loud when they pass. But if you want a good RV park right in town with the convenience of being able to walk into downtown Anchorage this place does the job. We only stayed for one night and it suited our needs great. We arrived at 10am on the day of check in and they let us pull into our spot right away so we had the whole day to spend in town.

Great RV park that is easy to get to and within easy walking distance of downtown Anchorage. Friendly and helpful staff, clean bathrooms and laundry room. They even have a "free box" in the laundry room for things you don't need anymore if you are at the end of your trip and those of us at the start of our trip can benefit from! Would stay here again for sure!

We loved staying here!! We initially had reservations for 3 nights. We extended our stay for another 8 nights!! The park is safe, clean, and in walking distance to the train station and downtown. The staff team was fun and friendly! We also used the nice laundry facilities. The train tracks are right next to the park. We love trains and enjoyed the regular schedule of the trains coming and going. They did not go by during sleep hours. Almendorf Air Force Base is close by as well. Some days we could enjoy watching the F-22 jets after they took off and they don't fly at night!! No road noise.

Decent campground with good facilities that are kept fairly clean (and bonus, showers are not extra cost). Yes it’s next to the train tracks, and yes you hear the train a few times a day. Didn’t really bother me to be honest, and my kids got excited trying to catch the train going by from the road by the entrance. An airport nearby too, so you hear some planes throughout the day — didn’t really bother me either. It’s nice that you’re not quite stacked right next to your neighbours; there is a bit of grass between most sites (some even have room for a picnic table). It’s got a good location overall. Got to see some spawning salmon just a five minute walk away along the Ship Creek trail. Would definitely recommend this campground for a night or two.
