I like this campground a lot. Extremely easy to find and get to coming from Fairbanks. Downtown but doesn’t feel like it in the campground because it is ringed by trees and very private. No street noise at all. There are indeed some trains, but I enjoyed them, and very few planes. The seagulls were noisier than both! I originally booked one night but stayed a second night because I enjoyed the convenience of the location so much and the overall experience was positive. Would definitely return.

We rented an RV from Shop Creek RV and they were fantastic! The RV was in good shape and they had it fully prepared with linen, towels, toiletries, and kitchen pots, pans, and utensils. The staff were very kind and easy to work with. They were thorough in preparing us and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend using them for your RV rental.

Nice RV park near downtown Anchorage. Can walk to downtown attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Near the train station and can get noisy with the trains.

Easy check in, good location close to town. Train runs right behind campsite, but that was not a problem as they stop in the evenings and don't start too early in the morning. Close walking distance to the river. Really enjoyed this campsite.Check in staff were really nice and helpful. Showers are free and hot. Laundry worked well.

Lots of train activity all night, every 2 hours they blow their horns when leaving the yard and crossing the roads. Wouldn’t be to bad if it was just train noise but the horn’s are deafening. Also management wouldn’t accommodate our itinerary change so we paid 89 for a night we didn’t stay there. Also note there’s no camp fires or charcoal bbq’s allowed, might as well stay in a parking lot somewhere.
