This campground is wonderful! Long, level spots and FHU and tent sites available, big rig friendly as well. What we love about this campground is the wooded area surrounding the grounds, fire pits at sites and picnic tables, it's peaceful and quiet. The owners and the workers are all very friendly and so nice. Reasonable prices for sites and camp needs. Very close to Mesa Verde NP but also close to Durango, Mancos and Cortez. We highly recommend this campground for single travelers, families and couples. We are full-time travelers and look for places like this. Thanks to all the workers here. We definitely will be returning customers. Don and Robyn M One side note: the wifi isn't that great. Drops a lot. T-mobile and Verizon

This was such an awesome RV park! We stayed two nights. It was beautiful and very well kept. The playground was awesome for my kiddos and the putt putt was very well maintained. Friendly service and a well priced laundromat! Highly recommend to stay here. Beautiful scenery and very quiet. Only minutes from the Mesa Verde park.

What a fantastic RV park!! The folks running the place are so welcoming and wonderful! As close as you can possibly get to the entrance of mesa verde national park!! Bathrooms are clean. The dog parks (yes there are 2) are great especially the large one down by the adorable mini golf course. Huge hit with our pups. The cabin/lodge is super cozy (tv, pool table, games, dvds etc) and they even have an adults only hot tub. The tiny cabins look adorable and the grounds are very well maintained. Highly recommend if in the area !

The cancellation policy is so strict that they never considered that a reservation that was paid 4 months and cancelled 13 before the date has zero value for future use or partial credit. Especially when I’m fairly certain they are not heavily booked. What a blown opportunity to make a happy camper instead of steering someone to write negative reviews. Yes they followed the policy alright. Good job!

Was disappointed by the 14 day cancellation policy. Made a reservation 4 months ago and needed to cancel. The phone agent merely said no you are 13 days out and no refunds no exceptions. While technically he was correct what does this say for good customer service? Or willingness to rebook in the future when plans change? I I’ll be booking elsewhere if I’m ever in the area.

With it being Labor Day weekend and this being a last-minute stop, we were worried we were not going to be able to find a Campground. But ancient Cedars was able to get us in a full hook up spot, we had trees on both sides, the laundry facility was very clean as was the shower house. After our long Mesa Verde hike, we enjoyed the hot tub, the pool was very clean. They also have a clubhouse area with games a TV and other things for kids to do. They also have a small miniature golf course. The price was very, very fair for full hook ups. Everybody we ran into her was very nice.

This is a nice RV park right across the bridge from Mesa Verde Park. The sites are a little crowded but not as others I've been to. They provide fire rings at most sites and sell fire wood at the office. They have 2 dog parks, swimming pool, putt putt golf and play ground for the kids. We had a nicely shaded spot in the back so road noise was at a minimum. The price is great with the amount of amenities they offer.
