While its a beautiful plateau along the river, the trees in the tenting site are extremely dangerous. We were down by the river and came back to a 20’ branch that had fallen and barely missed our car. Upon looking further there are tons of standing dead trees and widow makers. Pick your spot carefully! A couple of campsites have seemingly turned into hoarding situations. All together a lot of potential there if managment tightens things up

Great little spot for reasonable price. 3 nights 135$ with power and water. Needed longer hose to get water to back of trailer. Have sani dump but not sewer hook up at sites. Also no wifi. Bathrooms were clean and had showers. Have to prepay to reserve. Trains were too loud for one of us but I liked the rumble like a sound machine helped me sleep.

The Railroad is king ! Seriously trains filled with wood ? All night long it’s hilarious they even idle right across the way from here at 0200 hours … 46 bucks sounds cheap until you stay here !
