Situated approximately 25 miles south of Heppner on Highway 207, the park serves as a lush oasis within a scenic canyon setting. The drive to the park transitions from rolling ranch lands to steeper, timber-filled ridges, offering visitors a glimpse into the diverse topography of Morrow County. The sound of Willow Creek running through the grounds creates a peaceful acoustic backdrop, while the surrounding hills provide a sense of seclusion and privacy for RVers seeking to unplug.
Amenities & Park Features
The park is well-equipped for various camping styles, offering RV sites that include water and electrical hookups alongside several rental cabins. For convenience, travelers have access to clean restrooms, coin-operated showers, and a sanitary dump station located on-site. Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to explore in the immediate vicinity. Fishing for trout in Willow Creek is a favorite pastime, while the nearby Morrow County OHV Park offers over 9,000 acres of trails for off-road adventure seekers just a short drive away. This is a relaxing, peaceful place. You do have the occasional vehicle noise, it does echo through the little canyon but its very mild compared to our city street. We have used this camp as a good halfway camp for family from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Mature trees provide lots of shade for warmer days. This year was our third year staying and might have been the best! The camphost Liz was great! She worked very hard to keep a clean camp. Cleaning the restrooms daily and taking out the trash. It's worth saying that this is not a flat campground. It has some hills. We have stayed up on the hill sites F1-F3, which was not ideal for elderly family members. The cabin is a very nice and good option if you don't have a trailer or tent. F7-F10 sites were nice that they were more on flat ground, also close to the one bathroom. Honestly, every site is pretty. The showers were clean and had hot water. We enjoy walking the trails behind the camp. The little pond is nice for the fishing people. The playground is fun for the kids. Our dogs enjoyed running in the green grass and also chasing chipmunks and squirrels. No cell service is ideal for a peaceful getaway.

Beautiful small county park! A little road noise occasionally. Lots of tall trees. Very clean throughout including the bathrooms. Ice and firewood for sale. Near the county OHV park. But the best part of the park is the smile from Liz, the ultra-helpful park host!

We had a great time and even though the temperature was in excess of 100°, we were able to be in the shade to avoid major heat catastrophe with my boy Sunny. Liz is an amazing camp host. We got to enjoy catching some fish in the pond. There are many animals to see. We saw an otter, a baby fawn and many crawdads while fishing in the pond. I would like it if they added another cabin to the park. Also, the showers are pretty darn good for being a park out in the middle of nowhere

Beautiful park. Very quite. Not impressed with how clean it was though. Spend 4 night there & not once did the bathroom get cleaned. This is also the most used bathroom that 5 groups of campers were using. There were only 8 groups in the whole park all weekend. Thankfully the bathroom wasn't trashed. If your a clean freak or gem a phob definitely not the campground for you. The pond had been stocked a few days before & fishing was fantastic.

Camping is amazing at this place! It has hot showers. It was only $17.70 for one night with eight people, one tent and two vehicles. It has a fully stocked pond. A lot of places to explore, trails to walk and it's beautiful! The gentleman running the park is a very kind host 😁
