Apache-Sitgreaves/Grayling

Apache Sitgreaves National Forest is located in eastern Arizona and western New Mexico. It is part of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, which is managed by the U.S. Forest Service. The forest covers 1.6 million acres of land and is home to a variety of wildlife, including elk, deer, black bear, mountain lion, and bald eagle. The forest is also home to a variety of plant species, including ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, and aspen. The forest is popular for camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting. The Grayling Ranger District is located in the northern part of the forest and is home to the Greer Lakes, which are popular for fishing and camping.
