Wonderful, rustic campground. Very clean, Robin and Russell do a great job ! No trash anywhere and clean vaults! The drinking water is fabulous. I saw many Elk early in the AM in the meadow by the cg. Love this place, nice and cool when everywhere else is hot. 9,000ft elevation. Very beautiful scenery. Ill be back for sure next summer! Thank you My only complaint is the road coming into the cg. Please fix it! Very wash board, horrible road.

Wonderful natural area, intact spruce forest as well as evidence of past burns. Surrounding meadows with some cows. Good for low key hiking, very good for birdwatching. Great camp hosts! Friendly, accommodating, and helpful.

I stayed in a spot that was rated for a 45' trailer. Mine is 43' and it was incredibly difficult getting it into the space. It was a pull through space. Between the curve being very sharp for a spot rated for 45' and the boulders they have around the bend of the site, it was really hard to get in and out. Then there were people that rented 3 sites and all stayed in one right across from me with about 5 dogs that would not shut up. Really not a good experience.

Beautiful campground. Large sites, well maintained, clean restrooms. The host, Robyn was very friendly and helpful.

Wynn campground was excellent we had a great time we had sunshine we had rain we had clouds we had thunder lightning plenty of lakes nearby Great Meadows we even saw some wildlife including a bear One of the great places to camp for sure I think it's close to everything but it's also a little bit secluded and out of the way so it's kind of nice if you want to be in the White mountains you know wind campground is a place I definitely recommend you're close to sunrise you're close to Holly lake even even close to pinetop lakeside show low McNary what a great time and good facilities The bathrooms were out house style so they were pretty simple you know nothing spectacular but there was there was running water if you needed to wash dishes and things like that I brought my own water for drinking because I didn't want to take a chance on anything but probably was fine parking was good the camp host was friendly and we actually camped in the group setting which is nice for groups larger than 15 people and we probably had about 40 I'm guessing 45 and it was very well suited for that purpose we did make our reservations a long time in advance so I highly recommend that

Older and sites are in need of grading but overall a solid 4 stars. Sites are spaced out and the area is very quiet with Aspens blowing in the breeze. Van is in site 6 mid July, temps in the 70’s nights in the 50’s

I love this area. Quiet, not many know about these campgrounds. There is a fee, 14 dollars a day. The best part, NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED!!! Yes I said it, first come first serve. Amenities are as follows: restrooms which is an outhouse. No showers but there are plenty of lakes close by. Showers would make it perfect. The camp area is clean, tables, firepits, and a huge dumpster for trash. There is firewood for sale but during my visit there were strict fire restrictions in place, so during my visit I couldn't have a fire. I did bring a campstove to cook thank goodness. My recommendations are bring plenty of blankets and long pants, sweaters. Even in the summer it gets cold in the evenings after sun down. I didn't bring my air matress which I will bring next visit. Bring bikes for exploring, games to play, books to read. Very quiet in the evenings. I did see beautiful wild horses, elk, and squirrels. There are water faucets but I didn't see a faucet handle on the one I looked at.

My father used to take us here every year. I am now coming here with my nieces and their kids. It is a beautiful area with thick trees and a couple small lakes and a beautiful stream. The campground is cheap in price so I don't expect much. Some of the sites still have the wood benches from when I was a kid over 30yrs and are rotting. The campground host was very nice but only cleaned our restroom once in the 4 days we stayed. I wish the reservation site had more accurate pictures of the sites. Site 28 had alot of rocks and with 2 smaller children we had a couple of trips and falls. Lost a whole gallon of milk lol. But I love this area and although there are nicer campgrounds in the area, I love the simplicity and quietness of Winn. We will definitely be back next year.

Lovely scene. You’ll be surrounded by tall pines, young aspens and large meadows active with herds of animals. Our specific campsite had views of Mt. Baldy as well. Lots of great hiking nearby! The little toilet outhouses were kept clean, which makes a world of difference.
