Location is great. What i have a problem with is a dishonest owner. We were going to purchase a camper and paid a down-payment of total of $2300, only to find out the camper which is a 2022 mallard the ac did not work in bedroom, we were told that was our problem, the awning did not work, again our problem, the cable didn't work which isn't as big an issue but the fact that my 73 year old disabled father in law was treated poorly (stayed one night and couldn't even sleep and we were told no on getting any of the money back) so I will be filing proper procedures with fha, bbb, and small claims court. Slumlords are frowned upon. Don't ever stay long term. Guy is a crook.

My husband and I wanted to write a review and say how wonderful and welcoming it is here. We love it so much that we bought here. Our family loves it. The owner Dan goes out of his way to help and Carolyn is precious. I hope when you consider a vacation for a few days you will come here. You will never be disappointed. You can take your family a few miles down town to Dollywood and a short scenic drive to Gatlinburg. Well, maybe you may want to chill out and enjoy all the glorious nature around you, then this place is for you. You’re close to Cades Cove, rivers to wade in to your hearts delight or grill out and have fun with your family. A swimming hole not far away. A hikers dream within a short drive. Many trails to explore awaits you. If you like your vacay simple and fun then this is the place for you. In a world of reviews there will always be those that will complain, we have no complaints just compliments. Thank you Dan. You’re just great. 😊

This is not a resort. Host/owner not available when we wanted to check in. I had to call him and he asked us to wait a few minutes - 30 minutes later he showed up and gave us a site. He had no record of our prepaid reservation and provided nothing at check in - like wifi info, park info, etc. Restaurant not open with cob webs everywhere indicating it hasn't been open for quite some time. The views are nothing special and there is no secret entrance to Cade's Cove - it's a 22 mile drive. Not worth the cost when there are so many better parks in the area to chose from.

Bin here about a year and a bit, we love it, it's quite and simple kinda life out here. The people are very friendly, and the owner has bin very friendly to us and helpful. People mind the own business and I feel like it's for people wanting to get away from all the fluff and get back to a simplistic quite life. We Love it.

Very pleasant stay. Out of the hustle of the close attractions. Quiet. Very nice people. Loved the view from our patio on our camper. The hot tub was a plus. Dan was a nice host.
