The campsite was awesome down by the river! Their prices are HIGH. They charge $5 for a bag of ice, and a bundle of 14 pieces of firewood...will cost you $10! Friendly staff. Other than the prices I would gladly recommend.

I stayed in a pop up camper. It was nice and friendly. It wasn't very quiet because there were so many people listening to music out loud and it wasn't even bad music.

We just did the tubing. All staff was friendly and helpful. It's the longest Tube ride on the Apple River. Will definitely go through them again for tubing or camping.

I find the Apple River family campground is a great place to stay. They have hot showers. I have had good experiences with the people that work there. They are always accommodating and friendly.
