We absolutely loved our stay at Araby Acres! The Encore staff were very helpful and friendly. Our rv site was perfectly located and the size was great. We loved all the activities, parties and impromptu happy hours. The best thing about Araby Acres was the community residents. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly which truly made us feel like family. We will definitely be back next year!

People rate things on how it served their needs. That said, this park is not a bad park, just didn’t have things that my husband and I look for in a 4/5 star park. The park is older, with mostly park models. The only pull thru sites are up front near the main road which is loud during the day, but not bad at night. Back-in sites are scattered in with the park models and many are not very wide if you have opposing slides. Many also have a dip at the approach which could be problematic for some RVs. The park is clean and there are trash dumpsters on each corner. I also like that they have a dumpster for recycling. The staff is nice and thank goodness there is a camp host working the weekend as the office is closed. Laundry room was clean and updated. All machines use a credit card or the app., no coins. $2.50 per wash and $2.50 per dry. Plus, a small fee was added on with a card. Pool is nice and always clean though they only have 9 lounge chairs. There are tables and chairs as well. Our pull thru site was level and had a concrete pad, however, all hook ups are at the back of the site at the curb. Definitely requires multiple sewer hoses. There are no picnic tables at any sites. Unless you have a small vehicle, and/or a small RV, it is very hard to fit your RV and vehicle on the site. Most trucks were parked at an angle and hung out into the road. Vehicles don’t park next to the RV. The amenities seem more for the residents. Be sure to check the daily activity sheets hung at the pool. The calendar that we received didn’t have all the activities on it. There is no pickleball or bingo at this park. There are so many RV parks in Yuma so do your research.

This place is wonderful and maybe when I finally settled down I will buy a place to stay during the winter, but I enjoy it. It is great.
