We stayed in the campground just overnight. We did have trouble with our electricity and had to move to a different site. Seemed like a nice park. There's supposed to be a lake but it's been drained due to work needed on the dam.

Very nice Army COE campground. Nice large level sites with good separation. Many have large cement patios. Some even have little round food prep tables next to the grill. Some have two picnic tables. Original bathhouse old and decrepit but usable. But newer prefab bathhouse with 2 single full bathrooms was amazing! Even had handsoap and paper towels! Unfortunately, lake is empty due to dam needing major repair. Website says this should be completed in mid 2030’s. However, the Coldwater river is still down there and looks very nice. Oddly , when making reservations for our site, there was supposedly only one FHU site available but now that we area here, we see numerous available???

I normally think it's ok here. It was a freakin crazy mess this weekend!! I saw there was only a couple spots left on the site and didn't know why, then we get there with my camper and there's 800 people there blaring vulgar rap music and tapping on my wife's window with my kid in the truck going on. Blocking traffic.. There were VENDOR FOOD TENTS THERE! IT WAS HORRIBLE! I literally parked the camper there... Went home that night... and went and picked my camper back up there today... it was awful!!!

Nice camp ground. Clean and quiet and right next to a lake. We stayed in one of the spots where we had nice view. There is no check-in area, you do it all online so that was a little different. The only down side for us is that once you turn off the main road you are on small country roads and do to them being residential areas you also have to mind the slower speed limits. We had family staying at the Fitz casino and it was a 45 min drive one way to get from the campground to where they were.

A quick over night stay while traveling. Made reservations on line. Sites are quite large and open. Concrete picnic tables many on slabs. Paved sites are nearly level and clearly marked. Bathrooms and shower rooms are separate. They are a bit old school. Alittle run down but clean.
