Facilities and overall river valley setting were great. Very well maintained. Restroom [pit toilets] were clean. Could hear the river flowing all night, which was great. The camp ground's layout is not very creative--with campsites all in 2 rows with very little space between sites and no privacy. River access is great.

The camp area is nice and clean. However campsites are so close you can here everything your neighbors are doing with no privacy. No trash pickup, toilets are far. Fishing is great. A bit expensive for how little you get in camp amenities.

This place was very pretty. Beautiful water. Nice quiet area. With very nice camp sites. There were only a few RV/Campers/Vans. Don't recall tents there, too cold.

The views and access to the river are amazing. If weather forecasts wind, definitely brace yourselves.

One of my absolute favorite places to stop while cruising down hwy 50 with the dogs!! The area is relatively large giving plenty of space to play and stretch the dogs legs while in the car for long periods of time. It's a great spot to fish and just dip into the river on a beautiful day. The dogs especially love swimming here! The campground is pretty large but a bit crammed for my liking BUT the space allows for a quick camp overnight on a long road trip which is all you can ask for! Some cows here and there but they're so friendly and give plenty of space. Have fun!

Cute little rest stop along the highway. The camp ground is right along the river and there are bathrooms. No trash service so pack it out!

This was probably my least favorite campsite in Colorado. The tent sites are literally 10 feet from each other. If you enjoy camping right on top of other families you’ve never met before, then maybe this will work out. We didn’t enjoy it. It was awkward. The only reason I gave this site two stars instead of one is because the sunset was beautiful.

Great Campground but busy. Mainly people stopping just for the night though not for several days like we did. There are two bathrooms here in a changing area for men and women. A lot of people start and stop in this location as well but overall it was great.
