This is such a peaceful place to unwind. We stay often even though we only live a bit over 30 minutes away. It's beautiful, quite, relaxing...and a great place for children too. I only have one down side, that there are not full hookups. There is power and water, but no sewer hookups. There are dump stations though. Absolutely recommended for a peaceful stay.

This is a great campground and a great location very close to Little Rock Arkansas. There are at least five sections in the campground. Our first two nights we stayed in B at site 24 which was nice and on the water. Our last night we stayed in section a at site 15 which was also nice. We preferred area B if youāre going to be on the water, but if youāre OK overlooking water then the area D and C were much more wooded. You pretty much canāt go wrong in any area. Even if you camp on the water, donāt think that you can just walk down to the edge because thereās a lot of rocks and brush Itās a river not a lake so itās not like you can just step into the water. We stayed in mid October and there were a lot of RVs here, but everyone was spaced out very well so you still had plenty of privacy. We didnāt see walking trails, but the roads are easy to walk on throughout the campground. Itās a good place for fishing and there are picnic areas, but we saw very few young families here. We had water and 30 A in the B area, then water and 50 A in the A area. There were at least two dump sites within the COE property.

As of today this is officially amongst our favorite public campgrounds. This is an Army COA maintained park. It is **immaculately** cared for with beautiful & huge hardwood shade trees. It sits right on the Arkansas River on the far west side of the city of Little Rock, which is certainly convenient for travelers passing through like us (but also nice enough to stay a few days). It is located in the absolutely stunning Pinnacle Valley, which is not too far from the Pinnacle Mountains of the far eastern Ozarks. There's a good amount of space between sites with paved pads & they have attached picnic tables on level pads, as well. Bathrooms are basic & old style but immaculately clean with hot & cold running water. Boat ramp & parking lot is huge. You also have a choice of staying at the river level or on a small ridge that overlooks the campground. We stayed on the ridge.

It was a pretty area. Big camp sites & plenty of them too. A couple play grounds for the little one's.

Site B31 stayed relatively dry even with all the rain we got this weekend. Some of the B sites on the river were under water. There is a water fountain with a small roof on the camp side, so no campers close on that side. Pinnacle Mountain is 2 miles away and has excellent mountain bike trails MTB.

Beautiful, open RV Park with huge trees and walking trails. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Park was quiet and peaceful for my entire stay... enjoyed my time here and will be sure to return when I am in the vicinity.

Maumelle state park campground is a beautiful place to stay. Even if you live in Little Rock. Right on the water and tons of trees. Great place to go for the day. We have camped here many times now and itās just so quiet and peaceful. Will keep coming back again and again. Rates are great. Electric and water only with several bathhouses and dump stations throughout park.

Great campground, clean restrooms, lake views, and nice sites. I would definitely stay here again! Plenty of space at your site, hooks ups are at a good height, and plenty of dump stations for the multiple sections of the campground.

Beautiful park. Staying here September 2-8. Fishing with a license or permit. Great bike riding around the park A lot of campers walk daily.

Maumelle Park was an amazing campground to experience! It was very quiet, had great facilities, was extremely close to Pinnacle Mountain State Park, and Little Rock. The proximity to Pinnacle Mountain allowed me to hike it at Sunrise and Sunset which is something I haven't done with any mountain in my life! The river runs right next to it and makes an amazing area for all sorts of water activities. We had some lightning storms come through the area and they could be seen straight across the river which had it's own beauty. I booked this park the day of and was able to extend to the same spot for another day after. I loved my experience here and will definitely be back!

Beautiful riverside park with nicely spaced out sites. Water and electric at sites along the river. Sites are paved and level. Nice gravel patios with picnic table and fire ring. Bathrooms are clean but surprisingly lack soap. Showers are bare bones and need some updates.
