Love the owner of this place. We arrived after 9pm and he went out of his way to get us settled in. Great river side location

I would call this full service!. Hiked to town from the campground, to Buena Vista, to get some exercise and purchase some odds, and ends. Ended up with a couple of blisters after 5 miles. Ate lunch, then tried to summon a uber/lyft. Nada! Called 3 taxis and they were not servicing the area. Last resort, Jeff the owner. He said no problem and came to pick me up. Cannot be more thankful. Great guy!

I came through here on a trip and stopped to talk with the owner, Jeff. The man is a stand up gentleman born n raised in Colorado. The facilities are some of the best Ive seen along this drive. Hes got a nice pull in and the spots are level with most of them offering shade, electrical and septic. This facility backs up to the Arkansas river which just brings it closer to my heart back home. The views are wide and stunning. Make sure to say hello to Jeffs little fuzzy sidekick, Burt. The location is perfectly nestled between Twin Lakes and Buena Vista. Whether youre here for a night or for the week, theres plenty to access from this campground.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews but in fairness to the paying customers, I think it’s important to be honest and accurate. This is a good location with level sites and good hook-up from what I could see, depending what your expectations are. The host was pleasant, professional and assisted when and where needed. Overall though, the campground facilities were a little run down and in need of some TLC. Rustic is the best way to describe it. The location has some old wooden steps leading to the river providing access. Road noise may be an issue for some, especially with the occasional truck using their “Jake Brake.” The price was reasonable compared to other campgrounds. Minimal WIFI apparently and cannot be used for streaming. Cell service was reasonable to good for ATT (it fluctuates) and I was told better for Verizon although I didn’t see that on my “MIFI” internet module.

Even trying to talk to the grounds people was absolutely atrocious. A true disgrace of business by the owners and the valley should be embarrassed to have them as a part of such a wonderful place.

Great place, and very well priced. Bathrooms are well kept and the showers were hot. Found some gold in the river and caught a very nice trout. We were very happy with our site and the campground as a whole.

Great stop! Owner Jeff, greets newcomers with a friendly welcome and has helpful suggestions about attractions in the area. Campground is always nice and clean and has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountain ranges. Highly recommend!

Ark River Rim has served me and my family very well for many years. The owner, Jeff, is super friendly and helpful. We go to this spot every time we are in Buena Vista. The campground is right next to the Arkansas river and you can actually hike down to the river!

This was a simple, well-maintained campsite. My partner and I just got a tent site for a night. The campsite was quiet. The bathrooms were a nice touch compared to most campsites. The man who checked us in was polite and to the point. Would recommend a visit.

If you want a beautiful location, this is it. The owner, Jeff, keeps it clean. Restrooms and showers are great. One washer and one dryer but the cost is only $2 to wash and .75 to dry. Both were in excellent condition. Our site was great. Would definitely recommend this place Joyce Coomer.

Staying here for a few weeks while I'm traveling solo through the state. Dog friendly, river running nearby, and great customer service; what's not to like? The showers are amazing because let's be real, you could camp in the state parks and only get toilets that are basically holes in the ground. This place has running plumbing, cheap laundry, and hot water in the showers! Love it all. Certainly a gem in this town for sure.

Nice RV park in a scenic location. The owner takes real nice care of the place. Full hookups, bathrooms available, and plenty of walking space to stretch your legs after a long drive. Cons: road noise, though it's not terrible through the night. Would stay here again and enjoy the river.

Pulled in early evening and the owner was there to meet us. Took us to our spot, which was nice, even though the park is right off the highway. We got set up with full hookups. Built a fire and sat outside for a bit. Went inside and lo and behold, NO ELECTRICITY!! Tried hooking up to power at the sight next to us. Nothing. Checked our dogbone and there was an error message. Hubby said that the connection on the post was a little loose. Come to find out it blew our transfer switch. Could never catch the owner to let him know. So, we paid for 3 nights for full hookups which we didn’t have. Oh well! Luckily, our next stop was an owners rally and the techs there got us fixed right up at no charge to us! Love Grand Design!!
