I will say overall the campground is very nice and family friendly. The pool is under remodel right now but when it’s finished it will be spectacular! We attending a tour to talk about becoming members. I will say if I had more time to think about it and discuss with my husband they probably would have hooked us. I wish we had more time to think about the offer instead of the hour timeframe we spend with them.

My family and I had a great time however our power wasn't 50 amps and our AC wouldn't work with out our generator on. Their pool got destroyed a couple years by a tornado and still not going yet. We had high hopes on swimming and that was the reason why we picked this campground. It's also like a timeshare. But you can camp in several of their other locations as well

- Terrible customer service. Specifically Barbara(?) she's the heavy set 5ft 4in old lady who only speaks with attitude. I came across her twice and each time gets worse. She takes offense when you ask about new policies that she tells you about, which makes me thinks she's making it up. She only speaks to us about our vehicle being one foot too close to the gravel next to us (empty lot, and it's 6pm no one is coming) but she did not talk to the neighbors parking their two trucks in those empty lots and their golf cart taking a whole lot itself. When she spoke to us, we told her we will get it done when the driver gets back. That wasn't enough for her so she began raising her voice stating "I don't like how condescending you are" but we were professional because there was no fight needed. We went to the manager Rose- Barb acted like she said nothing and my sister was yelling, but that's not what our neighbors saw. Rose kicked my sister off the property for trying to report Barb. - Possible Racism & Targeting. We are a mixed family. We do feel targeted because every time we go, the staff - mostly Barb and Rose- push the 'new rules' much stricter on us. The other staff members are nice and will follow up with us when they request anything. We aren't loud, we don't drink, none of us smoke, we are introverts. The only difference between us and our neighbors is our skin color and language. Most people there, every time we are there, are white and older (like 50 and up). - We got yelled at by other campers. They called us illegal (we are white and Asian, it's hard to tell the Asian). They said we were illegal and what we were doing is illegal. But it was 7PM and we were on the golf cart taking the toddlers out for a slow ride but they said we needed to get back to our campsite because golf carts can't be out past 7:30pm. Too scared to report it to the staff because they might just kick us out. - Constant new policies and lots of mini charges. Y'all need to keep a policy in place for at least six months at a time, not each month something new. Have it written and printed out, email it to the members so we understand before we book. I don't wanna show up and all of a sudden I have to pay for our truck to enter when we are hauling the camper, and extra charges to bring the trailer hauling the golf cart. And my family visiting or simply picking up their children will have to pay to enter for ten minutes. Plus I want to know if Barb was ever right because her and Rose will not explain it. -Pool house and amenities are still out. Looks like it'll take another three years to finish.

We booked at this campground, well, I should say camp resort, at no cost and in exchange we had a one hour tour and would a sales pitch, which we were not looking forward to. Mike was our guy and he was knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and there was absolutely no high-pressure sales whatsoever. He simply presented the options and then let us make our decision And that was that. If you were hesitant to come because of the tour, please do not hesitate. Our three day stay is so far very amazing and the amount of amenities is great. They’re in the process of constructing an indoor pool and hot tub area. That is wonderful even in cool weather. There’s kayaking, canoeing, A beach area on their lake, and many spots for great fishing if you’re into bass, bluegill and other native fish. Lots of options, nationwide with a membership. If you are a family with children and maybe even grandchildren, this is a terrific option. Lots of family, friendly activities that are no additionalcost.

We had a very positive experience camping here & would not hesitate to return! The ENTIRE staff was very friendly! Tiffany Price took us on our tour and explained everything and answered all of our questions. Tiffany is definitely a people person! There was no high pressure put on us to purchase a membership. Everything was explained very well! Happy Camping!
