This is a great parking for your adventures. You are a short trip from Twin Lakes and the Independence Pass route to Aspen (40 miles ish) and 30 min outside of Leadville. The parking is straight forward, mountain parking in clean lots, on gravel. If you are a glamping queen and expect paved and butler service, you may be disappointed because you are at 9000 feet in the mountains, that is probably back in Denver or LA haha. The views are great. The drive is not too bad, it does seem like you drive straight up for hours especially if you travel like me at night it was harder than the day time driving for my Class A - a little bumpy and twisty at times. The site could use better internet and the phone was 4G degraded so if you need work connect take your Starlink or you will be frustrated. Bathrooms I tried out all times of the day and always were clean. They do encourage coin timed showers for water conservation. If you are from LA where water is always pilfered and you do not understand this concept you will probably be weird about it, but just for you they do not require it, they encourage it. Considering their 2026 drought and wildfire situations it made sense to do your part. They were extremely understanding of our late departure due to my race requirements on checkout day when we moved into downtown Leadville. I would use them again no problems.

We are pretty new to the RV / Camping life and Arrowhead Point was a DECENT place. Not the best we've ever stayed at but quite good. Pros: Location - just a few miles north of Buena Vista. Close enough to run and grab stuff but not "in town" which was nice. RV sites are nice and level with convenient hookups. Cabins and Yurts were very nice, although HOT (not the fault of the park, it was just HOT that week)... More / bigger windows in the cabins may help... or fans / attic fan maybe a good idea to add. Cons: Bathrooms were not the cleanest. No TP sometimes. You have to pay for showers. The office hours are ... not consistent. Difficult to know when anybody is going to be up there. When you call the office there is an answering service that is very inconvenient and seems very odd and scammish. I was really not sure when I would call the office if I was actually talking to the park or if their phones got hacked. IMO, it's not that hard or expensive to have an attendant there all the time or someone to answer the phone. WOULD recommend. If they fixed some of the minor issues this would be a 5 star place. A little upkeep and some investment and this place will blow up and could be the premier park in the area.

We used Arrowhead Point Resort for a family reunion. Our family rented the house and it was amazing, very clean and comfortable!! The owner is super nice too. Our family also rented several cabins and RV sites. We were within a short walking distance from everyone. I would recommend Arrowhead Point Resort for a place to vacation!!

Arrowhead Point Camping Resort is an affordable spot to stay near Buena Vista. The surrounding landscape is beautiful. I was tent camping and reserved a spot ahead of time. One thing I would recommend is double checking that the office received your reservation. Check in was before 6pm, so we planned our road trip around ensuring we arrived on time. Upon arrival at 5:30, all the staff had left for the day. 30-45 minutes were spent trying to get ahold of someone via the multiple phone numbers posted around the office to check in and when we finally spoke with someone, they couldn't find our reservation. Ended up not really needing to do anything to 'check-in'. Could have spent more time with family rather than booking it over to the site to check in only to learn everyone left early for the day anyways. Bathrooms at the main office were also dirty, wet, and smelly, but did the trick for a quick overnight stay.

Overall, I don't recommend this site unless you are RV Camping. We went tent camping, and got stuck on the top of the hill. This would have been fine, but the top of the hill is entirely tent unfriendly. The plateau caused 45+mph winds and that specific spot provided no cover, and broke some of our groups tents. There was no electricity unless you own an RV and the wifi doesn't reach at the top of the hill (and there aren't showers up there, but port-a-potties for convenience), so don't look for good or easily accessible amenities while up there. The bathrooms were generally dirty and were often left without toilet paper, and the store was closed during what seemed like normal hours of operation. The campsite does provide laundry and showers, both at a cost. Beyond that, be prepared to spend a bit of money if you wanna use the pavilion, but it is a nice spot and is worth it. Overall, I do not recommend this spot if you're camping with a tent.
