Great rV camp ground, was here in November and there were still quite a few rv’s here. It’s sits up on a hill so the view of the mountains is beautiful. It’s close to the major highways and all attractions. The pool was closed when I was here, but it looked very nice, bathrooms are small and dated but suitable for what you need. Electric and water at each site. The front desk staff are pleasant and helpful.

Although this campground is close to highways and has road noise, the excellent location more than makes up for it. We stayed 10 days, visited many restaurants and breweries as well as Biltmore and the Arboretum, and traveled to regional attractions including Grandfather Mountain and Chimney Rock. The sites are not very large but in an exciting destination like Asheville we spent little time at the camper. Could not be more pleased with our stay. Clean bathrooms and laundry too.

Location is great but the area in which you park your RV is very small. Most everyone with a truck and a trailer has to park their truck sideways. You are only 6 feet away from your neighbor. Or trailer was only 22ft long. But if you don't mind being set closely to your neighbor and parking length wise in front of your RV then it is great!

We stayed one night while passing through and it was perfect for us. We are 37 ft and needed a pull through. It was easy to book and was a great spot. There was road noise but it died down at night. The office team is very kind and helpful when we called to book. We recommend staying here.

We have been here for a couple months working and think it’s a great Rv park. Safe, quiet, and clean. The pool is great, the staff is helpful. The highway noise is not that bad compared to some I’ve stayed at. The other campers are respectful and quiet, that’s unheard of to be honest. Really cool place to stay for a long trip and the pool is amazing.

Nice campground near everything in Ashville. We stayed one night on the way home. Bathrooms could be updated but were adequate. We would stay here again if in the area.

We stay here often when visiting Asheville. Ms. Fox in the office is always accommodating on reservations and offers tips on places to visit in the area. We have had a great experience every time we have stayed here.

This is the worst place to stay if you care about your family and your pets. I was there and my dogs and myself contracted parasites, after telling the manager that they need to spray the grounds around my camper he had the nerve to say that was I was experiencing was flees. Talking to me like I was an idiot. When I said that these are not flees that they are actual worms I am pulling out of arms and legs and other areas of my body and my dogs head he got angry and through me off the property. I went through weeks of hell with my dogs health as well as my own. i have dozens of pictures that I will gladly share with anyone if they wish. My best suggestion to anyone that is thinking of staying here. DONT The owner of this place does not care about his customers well-being. Rick your a horrible human being to allow one of your customers to go through such a thing without even a care in the world. if anyone would like to reach out to me to see the pictures I have from this encounter please contact me. Just a warning in advance, the pictures are disturbing.

The sites are very very close to each other and the one we had was pretty small. No real space to be outside. The site next to ours was so close we could hear the entire conversation of the people next us while we were inside our camper. Might be alright for an overnight stay but not ideal for more than that.

Clean, simple to get in and out, perfect place to stop for a night while driving through

The campground needs some love on electrical boxes etc. Great lawn care, nice roomie spots and easy ride to drive to downtown Asheville.

Honestly this is the worst campground I’ve ever stayed at. I was a monthly resident. The laundry room is way too small for the resident capacity. Terrible customer service. I had packages stolen from the designated package bins. And the only reason I’m making this review is because the maintenance crew unplugged my electricity for whatever reason while I was at work, and never plugged it back up!! I have a space heater that’s keeps the Rv warm during the day and my animals were home without heat for who knows how long. And when I tell the staff they basically just shrug it off like it’s nothing. Terrible Rv park. I love Asheville and if you want to enjoy your time here I don’t recommend this place!

This review is for the overnight or few days campsites only. The campsites need some attention. Electrical panel boxes need to have work done on them. Water connections are very close to the ground, challenging to connect your water hose. Picnic tables are not in the best of shape. The campsites don't seem to be cleaned after previous camper customers. Found different debris around the vacant sites. FYI: You can hear the interstate noise, but that's not the campsite owners issue. You have to manage it the best as you can during your stay.

Recently, my nephew needed a place to move his camper. While another rv park we had made a reservation with charged us and would not refund the money when plans changed, Asheville Bear Creek RV was so accommodating when we called to cancel. We asked if they needed to charge us a fee and they said, “Oh no. We would never do that. We’re just glad you’re nephew found a place to stay and if you ever need us, please don’t hesitate to call.” Absolutely wonderful and would work with them again anytime!
