Nice camping area, trees for shade, river nearby. When making our reservation it would have been nice if the website had showed that major construction work would be done during the week we were there, noisy machinery didn't add to the experience.

This is a small but amazing hidden gem! The river that runs though is filled with trout (brown and rainbow) along with many fun and beautiful spots to take photos. The campsite has its own public bathrooms/outhouses. Each site come with a large pick nick table and a good sized fire pit. I recommend getting a site away from the main road due to wind. But each site is larger enough and provides open space for tents and hammocks. Overall I had a blast here and recommend this site to anyone!

The woods are dense, making each campsite very shady and private. Easy access to the river. The campground was quiet. The host could not be found. No cell phone access.

Camped with our family at aspen one of the basin best places to visit gorgeous views great fishing and the kids love playing in the creek added bonus there are cows right in the campgrounds. The camp is dry but you can get water down the road at the ranger station easy access for camper the town of hanna is not to far for gas groceries ext if you ever get a chance to visit you will not regret it.

Overall, I loved it. So beautiful. Gorgeous. It was pretty quiet, there's a great little river for kids to mess around in, fun little tree covered trails, and our site was perfect with great tables, shade, and sun. The best part is that we could have a fire there because of the type it was. BRING A HUMMINGBIRD FEEDER! We didn't have one, and the little hummers let us know how unacceptable that was, lol. We drove to Hanna and got one, and they were all so fun to watch. The only negative was the amount of ants.

This is now our 4th time camping at Aspen. Beautiful campground with alot of space between camp sites. It doesn't have a campground host but it sure is well kept and the bathrooms are clean. Only down side is there is no water at the campground. You will have to drive down to the Ranger/guard station at the mouth of the canyon to get your water. So plan on bring enough for your stay of a short drive to get water. Most the sites are perfect for a small to medium sized travel trailer. All are great for tents. It can get a little chilly at night so plan accordingly.
