Amazing views, access to the lake, big, spacious sites, lots of room in the sites. Camp host was non-existent. Hours of 9am to 9 pm are on the host bus, but there's a sign on the bus not to knock on the door, ever. Bathrooms were disgusting. Theposted clening log said the last cleaning was 4 days before we arrived, and they were not touched all weekend. Bring your own portapotty if you arent in a trailer, I did. The showers worked, but were just barely warm enough. They couldn't even be bothered to clean the mirrors. The pit toilets throughout camp were full of my chidhood nightmares and stunk terribly. They said they didn't get their supplies for cleaning. American Land & Leisure doesn't pay them much, if anything. They get lot rent. I guess I wouldn't want to work, either, if I wasn't being paid.....

The campsite was nice and the view overlooking the lake was great. However I agree with another commenter with the condition of the restrooms. At least the men's room was extremely dirty, the hand dryer didn't work, there was a broken shower seat on the floor, the shower drain was clogged, and there were no shower curtains making it difficult to keep your clean clothes dry. The cleaning log was signed everyday that it had been cleaned, but that was false.

Disgusting bathrooms, cleaning chart had that they were cleaned daily, however they were not. The person marking that they were cleaned, stopped long enough to mark on the piece of paper, that's all. Picked up items left at campsite, like pieces of a dog collar and other items Nice campground, bit of a hike to launch kayaks. Great to have cell service.

This could be a great campground. The sites have some privacy, there is shade with the trees at each site. Water and bathrooms are easy to get too. Unfortunately, although nice, the current hosts aren't cleaning. Everything is so gross....they sign the logs, and the condition looks no different from day to day. Bare minimum, they should be sweeping. Feces spattered on the toilets, no toilet paper. Floors in the showers are muddy....it's just gross. Plus, the quiet hours are not enforced, so much music, loud campers, people shouting. It could have been the unfortunate group of other people we ended up with, but we were there 4 days and it was something different everynight.

GIVE THESE CAMP HOSTS A RAISE!!! We make a yearly trip here almost every year. This year though was THE BEST! The camp hosts, Nicole (I think) and Matt were amazing. They really care about the campers there and are very dedicated to making sure everyone is happy and taken care of. The camp sites are clean, bathrooms and showers are great, and the proximity to the beach and cliffs is awesome. I seriously can’t say enough good about the hosts. There have been some years we have left early because of the guy that used to host but these two were amazing. If you see the US FLAG BUS stay!

Such a great campground. Can get crowded and a bit wild, but it's such a great location with easy access to the lake for swimming and sun bathing.

Been coming here my whole life, and it's changed over the years, but I love it. I always have a great time and look forward to coming back. It's reasonable driving distance (about 6k exactly, accordo to my running GPS) from the nearest gas station, and just a stone's throw from the dock, cliffs, and swimming area. I definitely recommend it.
