We absolutely LOVE Askew’s Landing! The family friendly environment is what made us choose this campground. The pool is always clean and the playground is amazing for our kiddo. They also have a dog park which is essential for our fur babies! The staff is SO friendly and helpful! They go above and beyond to help in any way they can.

This is a hidden gem that is perfect for an overnight passing through or to stay a few days and relax. It is far enough off the road that it is very quiet. Our site was spacious enough and plenty long so we did not need to unhook. We always appreciate being escorted to our site and the camp hosts were very kind, helpful, and gracious. Our dog loved the large dog park. The driveway is long getting to the office, and a little rough, but you should be driving slowly anyways. There are several that appear to be full timers, but all are very well maintained. There is a beautiful pond/lake and lots of shade trees. We chose the field because we did not need shade during late October. Do not hesitate to book a stay at this lovely hidden gem.

My new husband and I chose Askew's for our wedding and honeymoon night. We used the pavillion and the Glamping Getaway Cabin. We were very pleased with cabin as it was rustic but well maintained. There was plenty of room for our guests during the day. We were pleased with the amenities available to us. There were sweet touches like bottle water and Teddy Grahams as a welcome! The staff was more than accommodating with all our requests and even volunteered others. The owners even stopped by to give us their congratulations! It was a special time, and we plan on making an annual visit around our anniversary!!

We enjoyed an overnight stay at the campground. It is only 2 miles off of I-20 in Edwards, Mississippi and is easy to get there. Even though it’s close to the expressway we heard no traffic noise. During our stay it was peaceful and quiet. The staff were very friendly and got us checked in and then guided us to our site. The site was grass and dirt with 40 amp power and water. Full hook up sites were also available, but we didn’t need it. Our site had a nice view of the lake and we saw Graylag geese and ducks swimming and egrets fishing. We took a nice walk around the campground and found plenty of places to sit and relax. There is s a bath house and a big swimming pool too… but we never visited them. We will definitely visit again if it fits into our travel plans.

We just spent a fantastic weekend at Askew's Landing RV Campground and it truly exceeded all expectations! The grounds are beautiful, incredibly well-maintained, and the peaceful, wooded setting is the perfect escape. Our site was spacious, level, and all the hookups worked perfectly. We especially loved the lake views and the quiet atmosphere at night. The amenities are top-notch—the pool was sparkling clean. But what really sets Askew's Landing apart is the staff. They are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. It feels like a true community here. If you are looking for a relaxing, family-friendly, and all-around wonderful RV camping experience near Vicksburg or Jackson, look no further. We are already planning our next trip back! Highly, highly recommend!

Nice campground if you're pulling a trailer or a smallish Class C. The campground is pretty and well maintained. It sits on what used to be a plantation. There is a pond, a stocked lake, a pool, tame geese of some sort, and gardens everywhere, but no wifi, except on the office porch. Shaded spots available, but all are on grass. Pulling thru to your spot will be bumpy. However it appears that the campground is home to mostly permanent campers. Which is fine. We came in with a 40' Class A for 1 night. The road to campground is a well maintained gravel road with low hanging trees, so go slow. The dump station has low hanging branches so be careful. So, this is a nice campground but wouldn't really recommend for long or tall class A's.

Beautiful campground in a country setting. Really! I think it's on a site of an old plantation, but has a really nice lake. Has grass sites. Don't follow Google though. The nice gentleman at the office will give you proper directions.
