This park is beautiful and serene! We couldn't locate a visitors center, maybe there isn't one. We enjoyed the river, the water so clean and refreshing! After that we took a hike that offered wonderful views and so many little peaceful spots often hidden behind large rocks and things with tables where you could picnic. I couple small playgrounds and thar restrooms were all kept, that's always a plus in my book!!

This is a stunning place to visit! The hiking is a fantastic blend of moderate to easy with a couple hard spots. The board walk is gorgeous! There a some pathetic down to the water on the lower portion of the trail that are fun to explore. The river is beautiful and fun to play around. This is a highly recommended place to visit. We will be going back for sure!

We had a great visit at Audra State Park. I park was fairly easy to get to but I did get turned around. The map for the hikes were not that helpful. I recommend the state add mileage to the trials. We ended up going on a 3 miles hike on accident and my dogs barely made it. The hike was pretty difficult for us florida folk. The sights were absolutely beautiful and worth it. I recommend wearing both sunscreen and bug-spray. The bugs were no joke! I wouldn’t recommend the full trail to anyone out of shape. I recommend walking down to the cave boardwalk (15 mins in) and turning around after because the hike was hard. This location is not ADA so i wouldn’t recommend this to wheelchairs. There are plenty of bathrooms here, which were clean and had running water. There were tons of parking spots. There is camping here and it looks awesome! We want to come back just to camp! The water was really refreshing to dip our feet in. Our dogs loved running around the banks and playing in the water. You could swim here. This park is amazing and I highly recommend it!

Very unique trail, I love the boardwalk section that travels under the rock overhang of the Alum Cave trail. However, the park could use better signs to mark where things are, and the park office does not seem to be operational. Overall it was a nice place to visit though!

Today my husband and I made our first (and definitely not the last) trip to Audra State Park. I had heard and seen pictures online, but they absolutely do not do this place justice. The views are SPECTACULAR, there are just no words to describe it! It is nature at its finest! Good for the heart and soul. You can swim in the river, which isn’t that deep in most spots and the water felt great! We took water shoes because we thought the rocks might be uncomfortable on our feet but they were all smooth and mostly large. There are a few trails, and the Alum Cave trail has the boardwalk alongside the cliff overhang. The views are breathtaking! It’s an easy walk to get there, only 1/2 mile from the entrance of the trail. The rock overhang that the boardwalk is built onto is gigantic and the colors are so very pretty! I already can’t wait to go back!
