Late fall season stop so park was not crowded. We had a pull through spot #22 with full hook ups available. The park was gravel and a generous size, we were able to park easily 44' long motorhome and toad without disconnecting. Bathrooms were clean, on demand got water system for showers was marginal and water seemed overly softened. We would stay again if in the area.

This was our 2nd visit here for a quick couple days away. Very quiet location. A bit of an out of the way location, but a great place to stop for a night or 2 while passing through. Simple campsites with w/elec. SUPER clean! Bathrooms were immaculate. Staff are all friendly and helpful. The recreation room could do with some improvements. Overall, a nice place to stop.

This is a good campground for short stop overs. We were on our way back from Acadia and decided to stop and visit the Maine Costal Botanical Gardens. The campground is on a fairly steep hill that makes the back in sites a little challenging. The site itself was close to level. The katydids were very loud at dusk. Fortunately, we enjoyed listening them. The rest rooms are older but kept very clean. It was nice to shower outside the wet bath in our camper. The road nearby was loud during the day but quieted down after 9pm. We would stay here again for a night or two if we needed a stop over point in the area.

This was a surprisingly good KOA. It is located on a hill but the sites were well leveled and easy to get in and out of with a 40' motorhome towing a jeep. Hook ups were all good with good water pressure. This KOA has a lot for it only being considered a journey. Good stop if going through Maine or visiting the area.

Hands-down, one of the best campgrounds I have ever been to in Maine. Tons of family activities and a really friendly environment. Me and my family have been going here for three years and plan to go Again, next year. The lots are pretty comfortable, And they even have movie night, where you can bring your kids down and launch a random movie on the big screen! I definitely recommend going there at least once.

Spacious and level sites. There is a playground, dog park and hiking trail. The staff was friendly and the campground is clean, but their women's showers are not. Mold and pink slime in each shower. Their sign on the entrance door to the shower states showers are cleaned daily. I can guarantee you, they definitely are not. The showers need bleach and a good pressure washing or deep clean.

If you enjoy the strong smell of mold and mildew, come on down. The smell of mold is so strong, it slaps you in the face each time the wind moves the air. The management and staff were rude and clearly not qualified for their roles. Food was handled without gloves or other state-mandated safe practices. The one event we attended was pathetic as if it wasn't worth their time. We left after being there for a few hours. It just became too much and we didn't want to inhale mold all night long. We'll find another place to stay I'm sure. I'm not certain why anyone would stay at this KOA and hope they all aren't like this one.

We like KOA’s because they are usually pretty reliable. The pool was fantastic after a long sticky day of driving. Though the park is built on a steep hill, our site was surprisingly level. I was not impressed by the state of the roads and grounds however. It all had an air of neglect. The walking trail through the woods is a disaster and if it ever was clearly marked with yellow ribbon, that’s been gone for years. There’s a small dog enclosure along with a grassy area at the back of the park. In that area there’s a picnic table that’s been mowed around-never moved, and weeds are 2 feet high under it. It kind of pictures for you the lack of attention to detail-especially for a KOA brand. The staff were fine, but with a little elbow grease this park could easily be great.

Stayed this weekend. Campground is one mile from ironman bike course, so I woke up early and rode the course for practice. Family friendly, easy check in/set up process, dog park is a nice feature, kids enjoyed the playground and pool. Will be back.

This KOA had a more relaxed feel in contrast to the corporate-y feel of most KOA’s, much to my delight. This medium sized park was on the side of a hill with the full hook up sites cut in to be level. There are both pull through and back in sites. There is a playground and kids game area, and a laundry. The shop was well stocked with snacks and camping essentials. The pool was not open during our visit due to unexpected major equipment issues that they were working to resolve. It will probably be open by the time you visit but call if it’s an issue for you.

Definitely a relaxing atmosphere. Grandkids visited on weekend. They were entertained and enjoyed the experience. The bathrooms were clean, along with the showers. There are stools if you need to use them in the shower. Pets are welcome, nice well kept area. Good value at landry mat and dryer work well. All around great experience, will definitely return.

This is our second year camping and second time visiting this campground. Quiet, clean, with a friendly atmosphere. Our grandchildren love the playground and trail through the woods hopefully the weather will cooperate next time so we can use the cute clean pool 😆 . Our site was large with a table and chair set, grill and fire pit. Will be back next month and years to come. Thank you to the hard working owners and staff that kept things flowing. 😂

Nice park over all. So much nicer to feel like you are in the North woods rather than a sterile RV park environment. Stayed her 2 years ago for a bit and the capital improvements are noticeable, roads, pool, etc are all in great condition. Don't stay here if you want bars and noise non stop, the morning and evenings are so quiet you can hear a leaf fall. Great for singles to families, plenty to do if you turn off the TV and go do it, kayak rental, fishing nearby, hiking, what ever your fancy you can do it at this campground. Very canine friendly too, owners have plans to enlarge an already good dog park.
