Decent enough park. Like so many parks nowadays it’s 90% long term. The reason I give them 2 stars is they charge for pets and offer nothing for it. No pet area No dog mess bags. It’s just an excuse to change more money. We are a 4 month coast to coast vacation and this is the only park with a pet change

I recently traveled from Michigan to Maine for The Maine Cabin Masters Lobster Bake. Camping out at Augusta West was the best! I had fabulous ‘neighbors’ and a perfect spot on the edge of Annabessacook Lake. Lots of activities for family fun too!

Just returned from Augusta West Campground and I can say it is a wonderful campground. The campers who were camped around us were very, very respectful. The staff at the campground office were very polite and very helpful. The best part, we stumbled upon Christmas in July at the campground. Santa and Mrs. Claus were there and by signing up your child (free of charge), they would receive a gift from Santa! The kids had a wonderful time. Love the pool!

We got a day pass to swim at the pool (after the public pools in Augusta were unexpectedly closed) and it was lovely! The pool was so clean, the poolside furniture was really nice, the bathrooms and showers are maintained well! And the staff were really sweet and helpful! The campground views were gorgeous, the grounds seemed very well kept, and it was super serene. Would love to come back for a weekend!

Great place...book it now! Our family loves Augusta West. The lake has great fishing and is fun for tubing and other water sports. The campground is clean and very family friendly. Bring a bathing suit for the pool! Hot showers with stellar water pressure! Nice little convenience store and game room for the kids.

They put on a lovely holiday light display this year (both driving and walking tours depending on the day) and it was a lot of fun. We took the kids 3 times, and they loved it (especially the "rainbow forest" they couldn't stop talking about). Food trucks, campfire and cocoa as well? Fantastic start of what I hope will become an annual tradition!

Wonderful display of lights and so worth the trip! Especially like how the display was laid out and well thought out and can't wait to next year's display! Have you ever considered being part of the Great Light Fight with all the trailers!

The winter wonderland they did this year was absolutely amazing! Definitely worth going, and I recommend doing the walk! Yes it's cold.. But being able to see ALL the lights is so so worth it!

This place is AWESOME. They always seem to have something fun for the whole camp ground to enjoy. Love the pool the community around there. It's awesome.

We attended the holiday light show. It was very nice. Not too expensive. A fun outdoor thing to do on New Years Eve.
